This tutorial perfectly stands up to it's title of DWH Concepts. So, one must NOT join this course expecting some practical implementations here. The tutor has indeed done justice to the course with his deep understanding of the subject.

The Course is very much tailored to concepts and is in detail and descriptive. Very much helpful if we could download all the PPT’s for future and quick reference rather than referring back to the videos. There is no instructor coupon code available under this course. Perhaps that needs some attention. Regards, Prasad.M

I really liked the course, I feel like I learnt a lot. Regardless, I'm giving it 3 & 1/2 stars because sometimes the voice recordings were bad quality and hard to understand. The slides lacked cohesiveness, like they were created at different times and then put together. Also, it would've been ideal to have practical exercises or at least a multiple choice at the end of each section to make sure the core concepts were understood. You did a very good job either way, thank you for creating this course!

- Structure of slides could sometimes be improved, the bullets are sometimes a bit random, overlapping and unordered. Would be nice to show the main takeaway of each picture instead of the "subject" in slide headers. - I would have liked if there were some small quiz excersizes now and then to control if you captured the most central concepts.

I am from non technical background. Course covers good amount of theory knowledge however would be better if tools and its application demo would also have been covered like edwin, informatica, any OLAP app, OLTP app, dataware setup, overview of any BI app. I am still unclear dimensional models regarding its practicality.

The course was great, covered everything you need, if you want to start working in this field, or if you just want to refresh your knowledge and see the "Big Picture". The language he used is easy to follow, there are some examples provided for better understanding.

I found the course to contain a great deal of information that has proved very useful to me in my role. I went from knowing very little to being able to explain in detail the concepts of a data warehouse to my CEO and Executive management so they fully understood what a data warehouse could do for them. Only had a couple of times where I didn't understand the lecturer but playing back over the point solved the issue. The biggest issue is the transcriptions which are probably auto-generated were not helpful and often were way off from what was being said. Somebody should manually review these and adjust them.

concepts are explained at very high level for example regarding keys I am still not very clear about the differences between SK, CK and PK therefore if I will be asked during interview I might not able to explain the differences and when to use what and how it will impact the data model. For high level to know the terms this course is good but if you are expecting that by doing this course you will be able to implement the concepts in practical then you might need to renegotiate with your expectations.

It is well presented based on real world project implementation. I have learnt Data Warehouse concept indetail here. It is easy to tell that Sid has got indepth knowledge on design and implementing DW/BI solutions. I recommend for every one to take this course. He is best for me. Thank you , Sid.

I would have appreciate redundancy of definition like HOLAP (H stand for Hybrid), MOLAP (M stand for mxxx) and such. Redundancy is a technique to ensure a concept is remembered. For the rest, I think the teacher know his material. I listen to him at 1.25 speed. Section 16 and 17 could simply be removed or cut in half. It's very boring. I would have put a lot more time on modelisation...
