Course Description
This course has been intended for testers who want to learn the concepts of Database testing and SQL.
Many of the modern applications are creating data in a backend database and hence knowing SQL is an essential skill for testers. It starts with an introduction to Database testing concepts first followed by SQL and finally explains how SQL can be used as a tool to perform effective Database testing.
Microsoft SQL Server is one of the top popular RDBMS(Relational Database Management System) existing in today's market and hence a large number of organisations are expecting the testers to be proficient in t-SQL which is the SQL for Microsoft SQL Server.
This course starts with an introduction to DB testing, explains how Software testing techniques like Blackbox and Whitebox testing techniques can be applied in Database testing.
It also covers most of the SQL concepts that testers will need on a day to day life like
Creating database entities e.g. Database, Table etc,
Select, Update and Insert statements,
In-built functions like LEFT,LEN,LOWER,LTRIM,REPLACE,REVERSE,RIGHT,SUBSTRING etc.
Aggregate Functions like SUM, AVG, MAX,MIN etc.
Joins and Unions
Operators like And and Or
Then finally it covers how Database testing can be effectively accomplished by using SQL.

Good experience, some aspects (like left/right outer joins) need a little bit more of explanation. Sound quality could be better in some chapters.

The course covers topic but could have been little more elaborated. But, thanks for this course.

overall opinion about this course is good. I felt like the explanation for theory part is somewhat less. And the audio quality for different sections is different. Please Maintain the same audio level for the entire course.

t is good, i would like to have more content for new people with SQL like me. (It is not a bad course, if you are thinking in spend your time here it is ok!). Maybe today i did not learn a lot but i already know some functions. So; i am going to learn more SQL for my own, after that i will back to this course and i will learn better. From my point of view it is 9/10. My favorite part was the last section, it is absolutely helpful and practical. Please correct me if i wrote something wrong, i am not english native speaker and your comment also help me! Best regards, Sebastian

Some of the lessons are not well defined and leave me confused. This is supposed to be for begins but a lot of times the instructor says things as if the listener is already well versed in the subject. He does not give enough details on exactly what some of these things mean like nullability columns, whate exactly ETL is, query performance, etc..

It was a great first dive into SQL but i feel there should've been more test cases executions and also looking at the database with the eyes of a tester, it was JUST another SQL tutorial.
