I'm actually about the 64th video of the course I'm very excited of all these knowledge I'm actually complementing this database journey with IA. I truly feel that I'm learning so fast, the explanations are fine. Without loosing the time explaining topics outside the videos. Very precise and straighforward.

Yet another excellent Academind work done! The course just like all the others was amazing and comprehensive. Splitting the course into two, one of which is a fast-track a.k.a Summary section for SQL and the other is the extensive version, is a well-thought idea. Just following the summary section is almost enough for the one for having more than moderate level of knowledge. Following the extensive version will make the one a self-confident SQL developer/user. As always, I definitely suggest the course by heart for those who want to learn SQL in depth.

This is the best Course on Udemy to Learn MYSQL or PostgreSQL. The Teachers cover almost everything that a developer can use in SQL. I always love the way Max teaches. He is an excellent teacher, and no matter which course I take, it's always great and valuable to me. I deeply appreciate Max and Manuel for making this course and thank them.

I’m genuinely impressed by how Max and his colleague simplify complex topics, making them accessible to beginners while also providing a clear and efficient way for advanced students to revise without needing to follow the course from start to finish. The core concepts of SQL have been thoroughly covered, and now it’s up to us, the students, to dig deeper and stay updated with emerging topics—including areas like Triggers, which weren’t discussed here. It’s extremely beneficial when sections use slides before moving on to the code, as visualization brings a lot of clarity and greatly improves memory and retention. If possible, include slides and visualizations for all topics; it may increase the duration slightly, but it is incredibly helpful for someone learning for the first time. Also, overall, this course is excellent, with everything well spoken and clearly explained.

Good course. Detailed and well done, Everything is explained very good. I'm a FE developer, started to do some work on BE because I had to at my job, and I gained some practical experience from just starting working without not knowing anything in SQL, but this course thought me in detail many aspects. Still, as Max said at the course round-up, we should still go on and explore a lot more, the docs are huge for this management system and develop/apply this knowledge systematically.

Pieni di concetti, pieni di esempi pratici con spiegazioni sempre dettagliate, con delle risorse già preconfezionate per avvantaggiare l'utente nell'apprendimento. Questo corso copre tutte le basi del linguaggio SQL, e nonostante lavori costantemente con Database Oracle, mi è comunque servito per rivedere alcuni concetti, impararne di nuovi e rafforzare qualcosa che non mi era completamente chiaro. E' un corso medio-base che non ti darà le basi per diventare un DBA Administrator, ma comunque è molto completo.

Max and Manu are excellent teachers. This is one of many courses that I have finished from Academind. I am very satisfied with the course as they plan their course with precision and provide tons of resources like, pdf slides, external links, cod, github repo link, etc. From installation to coding and execution, everything was taught at perfect pace so a student can understand at ease. The course can have more tutorials and resources related to indexes and transactions. It also didn't cover anything related to stored procedures, views, triggers, events, etc. It can also have a dedicated section related to ER diagrams and overall, it can be enhanced with more and complex coding practices (eg, having coding practices for each section and their solutions to it.). Except that, the material was overall good and covered the basics very well so that one can get started with SQL after taking up the course.

Another amazing course from Max and Manuel, even when using MySQL in my daily job, I was able to solidify my knowledge about topics I don't use a lot regularly. Dividing course into detailed lessons first and "quick full scale project" at the end will allow you to recapitulate all that you learned during first 2/3s of the course. Truly recommended for absolute beginners and also pros who want to refresh their MySQL knowledge.
