I think this course is definitely setting a new standard for Udemy courses in terms of quality - this course has a lot more "meat" to it than your average course, however, similarly to many other courses on the platform, it suffers from a severe lack of exercise and the important bits of the course being a bit rushed and unclear - specifically the part about ASP.NET felt like the instructor didn't go as in-depth as he could.

The course is very good to learn C# , but at some parts i wished you explained all the code files aand not only the cs files.

I looked at many different courses and decided on this one due to the brevity. I'm only about halfway through, but I'm so glad I enrolled. I was looking for a C# refresher and an introduction to the .NET ecosystem, which this covers. What I didn't expect was the nice overview of the field, and the various theoretical discussions, which help to put everything into context. I think this course has something for everyone, from beginners to experienced developers. It's packed with great information and doesn't waste any time.

I like how he does encourage you to be sure that this is what you want and letting people know that you are not limited. And the history of Software Development is interesting. I am learning more as i do it myself!

It has been educational so far. A foundation regarding the history of software is being laid down at the moment. A solid foundation is always a great start to any course and shows the teacher has a love and understanding of the craft.

It’s important to understand that this course is primarily aimed at beginners. Intermediate to advanced developers might benefit more from the sections on OOP, TDD, and LINQ than others. The course was well-structured and serves as a great introduction to the software development world.

I have been in the computer industry for 30+ years, always writing Desktop Applications in FoxPro, Pascal, Delphi, VB, VB.net, C#, etc. I subscribed to this course because of the title 'Learn C# and ASP.NET Core". I was deceived BUT shame on me because in this crazy times we seasoned developers so many times do not stop/slow down to read the specifications and requirements, sign of our times. After the first two lessons I found out this was pretty basic stuff BUT I am deciding to go through it because the course offers SO MANY valuable concepts and definitions that even today I know what they mean but I don't know the exact/right definition to describe the terms. This course is a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to start a decent career in the IT field. As the instructor is saying, this path is not for everyone and it will require you to apply time, efforts, money and sometimes you will still feel frustrated asking: "Why am I doing this to myself?" In the end, it is worth it. Highly, highly recommended (basic, novice level focused)
