In this course I'll provide a walkthrough of my entire portrait painting process from fundamentals on proportions to complex understanding of light and color when painting the portrait. I've described in detail how I use blending brushes and layer modes to capture a traditional painting approach in a digital medium. Boy o Boy, Where do I start, Firstly no material ( jpeg files, etc for reference ) is provided with the tutorial. How on earth are you supposed to go along with it? Even other people have asked for those references among other questions, which the "instructor" hasn't answered in over a year. Secondly, the "instructor" while teaching says that if it weren't for teaching purposes he would just trace the image. Also, the fact that the reference image isn't at all being followed in the tutorial. what are we doing here?

This course gave me lots of ideas of things I can try when painting digitally. I appreciated seeing the way the color palette was organized with the colors blended together. This course quickly covers light, form and anatomy. Lots of great tips for finishing touches in the final details section.

I really like the content of the course, so I do not really have to say something about it. The thing that really sort of bothers me es the fact, that I would expect from a course that is sould to people, that the producer would put at least a little effort into the sound quality, because it really is very bad and it is neither expencive nor very difficult nower days to get that issue fixed.
