Our take
Based on the ratings of 11,703 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in August 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
Aakaro Consulting's HR diploma is a broad survey of the whole HR function: 21 sections, 167 lectures and about 12.5 hours. It moves from recruitment, learning and development and performance management through HR analytics, a block on prompt engineering and generative AI, and business emails. It also hands over templates like offer letters, appraisal forms and exit forms. It is really for newcomers, students heading into HR, and small business owners who need the basics laid out in order.
Reviewers call it easy to follow and straight to the point, and two like the quizzes and assignments placed between lectures. The complaints are steady, though. Audio is low in many lectures, and in some the background music is louder than the speaker. One three-star reviewer calls it intermediate and superficial. Another wants more on salary sheets, leave records and advance deductions, and the labour law section is only three short lectures. One student says a live project got no feedback, and another wanted a full transcript.
It was last updated in August 2026, and 40,105 students have joined. Most of the 11,703 ratings are four or five stars. Treat it as a primer, not a deep dive. The listing offers a certificate, though one reviewer asked whether a diploma comes with it. For a paid, wide first pass at HR, it is a solid pick. If you need payroll depth, look elsewhere.
Pros
- Ready-to-use templates for offer letters, appraisal forms and exit forms
- Quizzes and assignments between lectures help check understanding
- Covers 21 topics from recruitment to HR analytics and generative AI
- Reviewers find the explanations clear and easy to follow
Cons
- Low audio in many lectures, with music sometimes louder than the speaker
- Salary, leave and labour law sections are thin, some in documents not video
- One reviewer got no feedback on a live project; another wanted a full transcript
it was very easy to understand and quiz and test help a lot to understand how much i really get it.

It would be nice to have a transcript of the full course; it can be printed out for future reference. It would take too much time to go back and forth for any reference. Most of the courses on Udemy have transcripts of the full course.
By Rola Alsarhan on 8/10/2026
This course was very informative and straight to the point. It covered all the important basics of HR in a clear way. However the audio can be improved, in a lot of lectures the voice of the speaker was kind of low and in some videos the music sound was louder than the speakers voice. Also, I would've appreciated it if all reports had a download option. Lastly , I want to say that I would have preferred the salary section to be presented in a video more than being explained in documents. Thank you for your efforts, I learned so much in this course!
