Discrete Mathematics (Udemy.com)

This was a great intro to so many topics for me. I'm currently studying to do software engineering and was told that discrete math was something I absolutely need. I'm glad I took this class. Now I have background knowledge of a lot of topics so that I'm ready for the future! There were some lectures where the examples that he went through were way too fast, but I just googled it if I didn't understand it. Overall, If I was continuing in math, I would probably take more courses from this professor.

well, I am a beginner, and graduated highschool and went to the medical field 20 years ago. looking for courses for beginners to change careers into software programing and statistics. This was a simplified course, and it was perfect.

The course is excellent and stands out as one of the best for understanding discrete structures. However, there's a lack of practice problems, with the exception of set theory. The only assessments provided are quizzes, and they contain just 3-4 questions. I've raised this concern with the instructor, who mentioned he would address it in the future. Additionally, he mispronounces "Euler," which, for someone who holds mathematicians in high regard, is quite grating. Due to these reasons, I'm rating the course 4 out of 5 instead of a perfect score.

Overall, the course was excellent. However, I must admit that the lecture over proofs is not entirely clear as to how certain conclusions were drawn. For example, on one of the quizzes, there was an answer that said something like "it is true bc it is not not false" which did not make much sense. Lastly, I think the handwriting could be improved as well,even though it's not that big of a deal. All-in-all the course was very informative and useful.

I'm a developer but I'm not graduated. So I decided to take this course, in order to take a look on the "hidden knowledge", that I never got the change to see at all. The course is so well explained, and it give you all the tools for approaching the study of discrete mathematical concepts. Now I'm finally learning the Graphs Theory and discovering how amazing is discrete math and logic!! Hoping next year to become also a "student", of computer science. Thank you so much Miran Fattah!!

The way the instructor taught and gave examples made the course and its lectures more understandable. The QUIZ part was the BEST because it really helped me to improve my problem-solving skills, and to assess that whether I understood the topics or not.

Mr. Fattah is one of the best teachers I have ever met. His teaching format and lectures are very enjoyable. I have taken some other courses with Mr. Fattah before and I am looking forward to his other courses. Mr. Fattah, please keep up the good work.

An absolutely wonderful course! I learned a lot about Discrete Mathematics. I think it is a must-take course for those who are interested in Computer Science and Rigorous practice sessions really churn out the best in you. What I couldn't understand in Tier-3 College is this subject .this online course is an Eye opener for me. because I am deaf person, nobody can teach me this tough subject. This is a great course for learning discrete math. Miran Fattah is a great teacher. He takes full responsibility to make you understand all concepts. He presents every concept in an easy and interesting manner through examples, definitions and questions . Every lecture is followed by a quiz to test your understanding. Although this course doesn't contain all topic of a college-level discrete mathematics course, it is enough for getting started with discrete math with confidence and stop fearing the subject. After completing this course, you will be able to learn some advance topics of discrete math on your own. This course has hundreds of practice problems in quizes. Some sections also have extra problem sets with solutions. This is for Miran. Please add those extra problem sets for all sections, and more advance topics in the course. And thank you so much for this course.

The material was good, and well-presented, however there were numerous spelling mistakes, and there also appears to be a few mistakes in the quizzes

This is a great revision to cement the knowledge and create a strong base of things I overlooked in the past.

Puts all the youtube videos to shame, and make discrete math easy. Thank you!
