Course Description
HOW BECOME A CALCULUS 3 MASTER IS SET UP TO MAKE COMPLICATED MATH EASY:
This 526-lesson course includes video and text explanations of everything from Calculus 3, and it includes 161 quizzes (with solutions!) and an additional 40 workbooks with extra practice problems, to help you test your understanding along the way. Become a Calculus 3 Master is organized into the following sections:
Partial Derivatives
Multiple Integrals
Vectors
AND HERE'S WHAT YOU GET INSIDE OF EVERY SECTION:
Videos: Watch over my shoulder as I solve problems for every single math issue you’ll encounter in class. We start from the beginning... I explain the problem setup and why I set it up that way, the steps I take and why I take them, how to work through the yucky, fuzzy middle parts, and how to simplify the answer when you get it.
Notes: The notes section of each lesson is where you find the most important things to remember. It’s like Cliff Notes for books, but for math. Everything you need to know to pass your class and nothing you don’t.
Quizzes: When you think you’ve got a good grasp on a topic within a course, you can test your knowledge by taking one of the quizzes. If you pass, great! If not, you can review the videos and notes again or ask for help in the Q&A section.
Workbooks: Want even more practice? When you've finished the section, you can review everything you've learned by working through the bonus workbook. The workbooks include tons of extra practice problems, so they're a great way to solidify what you just learned in that section.
HERE'S WHAT SOME STUDENTS OF BECOME A CALCULUS 3 MASTER HAVE TOLD ME:
“Krista is an excellent teacher and her course is comprehensive. She is a clear communicator, makes complex calculus topics easily understandable, and uses video tools expertly.” - John
“One of the best instructors that I have ever learned from. She has a way of explaining topics so clearly that they become fairly easy. I took her calculus 2 course because I had a hard time understanding my teacher. I finished the class with a B+ mostly because I watched her videos, read the outline that she provides and practiced problems in the book.” - Desarael B.
“I have taken all 3 of her classes and sadly she doesn't have anymore. I honestly feel like more people including teachers should take notes on how she goes about teaching these difficult concepts. I flew through this class, not because it is easy, but because she makes it so easy to grasp everything. I am honestly bummed that this is the last leg of my journey with this incredible teacher. If people were half as good as she is at teaching there would be a lot more people in STEM. P.S. I am writing this review 2 months since completing her Calc 3 and have since gone on to take Partial Differentials, Linear Algebra, and Analysis. There would be absolutely no way I would've been able to learn this much in so little time without her. She gave me such a strong grasp on math and how to approach problems that I feel I have the tools to really explore so much more. Without her I'm sure I would still be learning derivatives. I would recommend this class to anyone going to college, in college, or out of college. These classes are some of the best reference materials you'll ever have. The only thing I do wish is to have some quizzes at least for the ODE's to really cement an understanding of the math. Already miss learning from you Krista! Thanks for everything you've helped me learn.” - Morgan G.
“This is the PERFECT GRE MATH SUBJECT TEST review for Calc III and DE. Thank you!!” - Carter R.

As a high school graduates before entering college, I think this course did build a foundation for me on Calculus 3. The overall learning experience is decent, the quiz and workbook provide an extension for learners to have more concepts on what they are learning. However, there are still some suggestions from me: 1. The explanation on new concepts isn't clear enough and most of the time, learners especially those self learners without any fundamental Calculus 3 knowledge would have a hard time understanding those new topics introduced. 2. The difficulty level between lecture video and Workbook is a massive one as the lecture video and quiz are just some basic calculation of the topic while Workbook provides very tough questions and applications of the topic. It takes a lot of time for self-learners like me to understand questions in Workbook. Sometimes, the solutions in workbook have some steps skipped is also a challenge for learners to understand without prerequisite knowledge. All in all, a massive thanks to Krista for these lectures!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this course. I was very impressed with the content, both the way it was presented and the range of subject matter that was covered. I especially appreciated the Bonus sections, where I was given the opportunity to consolidate what I had been taught. The structure of article, video & quiz worked very well for me. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Elizabeth, who helped me out on many occasions in a very speedy and helpful way.

This was yet another fantastic and comprehensive course -- a great end to the Calculus curriculum. Once again, the supplied lecture notes make for a very convenient reference and also save students what would indubitably be a significant amount of time if we were to write our own notes. I think the course must have been updated a few times since the first publication of the notes, however, because there is much material covered in the lectures that are not in the notes. Nonetheless, you are going to have a fun time through Team Krista's Calculus I, II and III relearning all the math you forgot from high school and undergrad. I sure did!

This course seems like it will be a good match for what I want to learn, especially visualizing some of the ideas. The video lectures are extremely important that help clarify the lectures.

Sometimes hard to visualize what is happening in certain lectures

Professor King explains very well, even for students that are not good in math but the course its lacking a lot of graphical and geometric explanation on the topics. Its the only thing its missing, afterwards a really great course.

This course is amazing! I learn way better here than from my college professors! I recommend this course to everyone!

I think I might actually pass my calculus exam due to these videos. My prof's explanations were worthless, so fuzzy and difficult to read (especially during COVID with online teaching this is a pain, you can't ask any questions during lectures and if the screen isn't readable you're basically screwed). This is really helping me get a clear understanding of what is going on.

Much better than the instruction I received in my actual class.

Krista is very patient, and explains, literally, every step (even the simple ones). One of the amazing things about this course is that there is a quiz to every lecture, with explained solutions in an attached file. She and her team member, Elizabeth, respond to questions within hours, which really has made learning much easier. I am very glad that I could find such amazing tutors. See you in Statistics and Probability course! Thanks!
