Docker for .NET Developer - Getting Started (Udemy.com)

Thank you for a wonderful course to get me started on Docker. To be honest, this was not my first course in Docker. The last time around, I followed the instructor and got my assignments done but did not get a clear understanding of what was happening when the images were being built. This time around, I believe I finally have some clarity and can build on this to do more complex stuff. Definitely recommend this course to folks who are lost when taking on Docker for the first time. Keep it up Bhrugen. Look forward to more courses from you in containerization/cloud technologies. Thanks.

The Docker topic is presented in an accessible and understandable manner. When studying the material under the guidance of Bhrugen Patel, there is a feeling of the simplicity of the technology and the desire for further training increases. Definitely recommend this course! I recently finished the course and it was fantastic. The course is well-structured and easy to follow. The instructors explained everything clearly, from setting up Docker to deploying .NET Core apps. The hands-on exercises were great for practice and helped me understand the concepts better. Overall, this course really improved my skills with Docker and .NET Core.

The content is well-structured, easy to follow, and provides practical examples that make complex topics more accessible. I would say this a good quick start guide to Blazor, it is not in depth at all, so I feel it lacks a whole lot... However the course was very well done, all the code samples work the first time. The instructor was very good. For the lack of depth i gave it a 3 starts instead of 5. If the course was named something like quick start guide to Blazor 3.1 then I would have given it a 5star as i would have know it was limited overall.

Very informative course; however, I do not recommend for beginners. If I did not have prior web application development experience with node.js, React, and more, this course would have made no sense. Having prior knowledge on routing, object-oriented programming concepts (this was my first time with C#, from knowing Java, Python, and Javascript, C# is insanely easy to learn, all the OOP concepts are the same), and components would be very helpful. There are many 40+ hour courses on web applications taking people "from zero to hero" - I'd love to see something like that for Blazor, explaining the concepts and ASP.NET framework from scratch. All in all: This is a fantastic course and I learned a ton! Thank you, Bhrugen Patel!!! With Web Assembly being released this month (May 2020 - Web Assembly is Client-Side while this course was for Server-Side, this project will not port perfectly since it uses System.IO), I will be using Blazor for all of my web applications going forward.

This is an amazing introduction to Blazor! Very comprehensive and well-structured; each chapter takes you along the project and Bhrugen provides many useful tips and comments along the way. His course has convinced me that Blazor is the way to go for web-app development. I hope he provides some advanced courses as Blazor (Client) is released.

Definitely good intro to Blazor. There were two reasons I didn't give the course 5 stars. First, a few of the videos had segments where the video was blurry. The author should have had someone watch the final product to ensure video quality. Second, I didn't favor providing the course assignments as the last two modules and then not providing a video walk-through of the solution. Still, it was a good, but brief into to Blazor. I purchased an addition, much longer course on Blazor by another author to fill-in the gaps.

Couple of lectures the names of variables and/or method names changes. Would have been nice if at the end of the section you had the actual source code available (unless I'm missing the link). I got stuck at one point (which is kind of cool because you have to troubleshoot, but still would have been nice to have a reference to the code). Otherwise, I would not hesitate, its a good learners tutorial. I bumped the rating up here. The author responded that the code was available on GitHub; something I obviously missed.
