Drone Aerial Videography and Photography Master Class (Udemy.com)

I’m only on the 3rd video but so far it’s been easy to understand and the videos aren’t long at all so it keeps my attention better and makes it feel like I’m moving through the course faster.

Great course overall, I think the title is a bit misleading. "Master Class" implies that a more in depth learning experience will happen. This is a great course for beginners, I would not call it a master class. Blaise is an articulate, knowledgeable, and well spoken instructor. Even if you do not take this course from him I suggest other.

Very solid beginner level course. Easily digestible modules, good information, but very rudimentary. Blaise is engaging, well-spoken/explains this well, and mixes great shot examples throughout to explain each aspect. Expect this to be a high level overview of drone flying, settings, and types of shots. The most helpful for me was Section 5 on Filming & Photography. I wish it went more into this specifically, as this is the knowledge that is great for drone flyers to take spectacular shots with good settings, and frame composition. All in all, I did learn a solid amount, but wish it focused in more on the core of the filming skills.

I don't think this course must be rated /described as a Master Class. This is in my opinion a Beginner course, and must be describe as Beginner. I've rated it as Good, I just feel the Title is a bit miss leading. I've been a drone pilot since 2006 even before DJI released their first drone (Build our own drone with Radio Control Helicopter Gyros. Radio control Airplane/helicopter Pilot for more than 30 years, and a Private Pilot for fixed wing aircraft (EPL/NPL/PPL) for 18 years. The title let me go into it as a "Master" class course which will tough me more that just the "beginner" stuff. I also feel more practical Examples/video of various camera settings and the effect it will have on videos. GOOD course for any beginner drone pilot who want to begin with Aerial photography

Apart from being a new flyer I was drawn to the program because of the video editing factor. I'm satisfied and would recommend any newbies.

This course contains everything you need to know if you are a beginner. It is quick and right to the point. I feel ready and equipped to start my aerial photography and filming journey. Thank you!!

The section on selecting a drone is way out dated and needs to be updated. No one talks about the Mavic or phantom 3's anymore. You should be talking about the Mavic 2 Pro, the Mavic Air and the Phantom 4 Pro.

My big take away from this is, this is not a 'Master-Class.' What it is is a very, very, good introduction to drone photography and videography. But a master-class, it isn't. For example, there was zero discussion on the used of ND (neutral density) filters, polarizing filters, and the like. Some of the info added in the provided links is useful, but still. For a master-class title, I had expected a good bit more. Four-stars though for the good and thorough explanations of the topics covered, and for a interesting and well thought out narration.

Very nice course, detailed, but not intimidating, good use of time, moves very quickly. Excellent confidence builder for a beginner. I'm already looking for more courses by this instructor.

I really enjoyed this class and I'm excited to try out some of the things I learned. The course is well organized and structured so I'll probably reference sections of the course as I start flying and shooting videos on my drone. Also, the instructor is well spoken and uses good examples throughout the course which helps students stay engaged. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who is looking to start shooting videos on a drone or those who are looking to fine tune their filming and editing skills.
