Course Description

Smart Contracts?
They're here. TheEthereum Blockchain?
Covered.
Solidity?
Yep!

There can be no understating it: Ethereum and Blockchain technology is the most disruptive force in years. Companies cannot hire developers who understand blockchain technologies fast enough, but there are a tiny number of resources published to help youtrulyunderstand what blockchains are used for, let alone build apps with them. That's the purpose of this course:
to be the best resource online for learning about Ethereum, blockchains, and how to build apps with this new technology.

The development community is still figuring out the best way to use Ethereum in the creation of new and exciting apps. I spent a tremendous amount of time to research and create best practice for interfacing with Ethereum from Javascript. I can't overstate it enough; this course will show you the best and most easily repeatable patterns for creating production-readyapps with Ethereum.

What tools and libraries are used?

The Ethereum tech ecosystem is in constant change. Don't be fooled by other courses that mention how you'll learna dozen different libraries! Every library that you'll use with Ethereum breaks and is deprecated on a near-weekly basis! Instead, this course will teach you how to assemble your own boilerplate packageto develop, compile, and test Smart Contracts. By learning thecore technologies, you'll be prepared to adjust to Ethereum no matter how the ecosystem changes.

What is Ethereum?

Ethereum is a cryptocurrency much like Bitcoin, andit has been heralded as Bitcoins successor. Whereas Bitcoin currently has issues scaling with an increasing backlog of transactions, Ethereum is poised to surpass Bitcoin in performance, popularity, and value. Ethereum was created to help developers like you create applications focused around transferring money or value from one party to another.

What is Solidity?

Solidity is a programming language for writing Smart Contracts. Essentially, think of it as a way to control a bank account with code. With Solidity, we can write applications that simulate a crowd funding campaign, a lottery, a loan, or any other type of financial instrument. Don't be intimidated by learning 'another' programming language; Solidity is known to be quite similar to Javascript and exceptionally easy to pick up for anyone who has previous JS experience. This course will give you all the tools you need to master Solidity.

Who this course is for:
Programmers looking to leverage blockchain technology for advanced appsEngineers who want to understand Ethereum and how to build apps with it

Awesome. What an amazing learning experience! Compared to other ethereum courses, this is the best one I've ever seen. So far I've learned many solidity elements and I am able to understand the underlying mechanism of many things. Although the course looks a bit outdated, the major concepts are the same regardless to the versions of solidity. Thus, it's a highly recommended course.

for the beginner i would suggest this is the best course.
i think there might be small issue with `next-routes` like using (Router.pushRoute or replceRoute) but still not that big. u can follow along with course and everything works great.
highly Re-commanded to others.
Thanks you so much. for this course to Author.

Clear and understandable

Sehr klar und gut gesprochen

This course is based on out of date versions and requires participants to downgrade. I am extremely disappointed to find that it is useless for learning how to create blockchain tokens on an up-to-date version of Solidity.
Getting a question answered took so long that the refund period expired and quite frankly I feel cheated.

this is my third course from stephen grider sir i loved it very much.

Started off strong, lots of great info and clear teaching, but a few hours in I realized that a lot of this is deprecated. Some code is unsupported in the latest version of solidity, and you have to make some fixes half way through the modules. If they updated this, it would be an amazing course.

Some material appears to be out of date. One of the first URLs for the practical appears to be dead and the delivery platform keeps constantly asking me for feedback before I've even completed the first section!

There are some missing tips in the solidity part.

Great course. Well structured and carefully explained.

Good content. Is now somewhat out of date in places, you may struggle due to node having advanced a lot hit. use nvm to install the same node version. I'd say the course is more geared towards beginners. If you don't know anything about Ethereum or programming you will be fine. If you know a lot about Ethereum and have done a lot of general programming you will spend a lot of time skipping content which is annoying but understandable. Great explanations of things though and definitely learnt stuff.

The class subjects are good. However, the questions aren't answered. Some content isn't upgraded. The course isn't sync with the updates of different smart contract applications. I'm disappointed.
