Gives a good segway into getting the groundwork for ES6 Javascript, which can be pretty quirky! I enjoyed taking this course and learnt a ton of stuff!

Great content on JS fundamentals. However with more advanced topics explanations are not clear and examples not great. Particularly weak topics was the one on generators. Could be much better.

I love the way that Mr.Grider explains stuff, he's great! But, I was a bit disappointed with the fact that I did not have the answers to the quizzes directly from him, or that he went over the problems to solve them and I had to rely on other students postings which sometimes got results using formulas not yet explained. Otherwise, I think the course was great. Thank you.

I am a java developer that recently jumped head in first developing an angular app. I felt as if I all the time was writing too much complicated code to achieve simple things, this course has taught me that I indeed did things wrong and now I have learned a better more concise way to program. Great stuff!!!

Unfortunately, regarding asynchronous code, the course title indicates this is about ES6 features. I find myself wishing there was further instruction--in the same style--on post ES6 features, namely async/await.

Stephen is a great teacher. I like the way he illustrates the concepts using diagrams, then applies those concepts in code. Certain concepts are missing in the course. For e.g. symbols, sets, maps, modules, iteration and iterable protocols are missing. It would be of great help if these are included in the course.

Fairly knowledgeable, good at explaining, missed a couple of minor issues such as the scoping issues of let vs var. Not mentioning how let is scoped differently is really a small, but important oversight.

one of the best courses ive taken on udemy. teacher is super descriptive. goes slowly enough for newbies. VISUAL TEACHER! this is a big plus for me. he teaches with charts, highlights what hes talking about. only reasons i gave 4.5 and not a 5, is that the challenges are not always clear what he wants from the student. and also he doesnt supply the correct answer, so you have to go through all the students answers and try to decide for yourself which is correct. other than that, super course!

Stephens courses are always great. This is the third course I've taken from him. He has very clear examples and exercises to work through. This course is a great complement to the React courses he has. I kinda wish I had take this one first though. Honestly possibly the best instructor I've found on Udemy.
