True to the idea that people will open up to you more when they feel safe, they eventually shared their struggles by providing coaching and mentorship, allowing them to adjust their workload and get them back on the track aiming to met their individual target and deadlines.

I have 20 years of leadership experience already. dragging on about empathy in leadership when 99% of students made to take this training are not in a leadership role, and the Leadership who does take it, never implement it. Mandatory training? thanks for wasting my time.

This course was excellent for me. I appreciated the organized way of explaining empathy without feeling like I was in a lecture. The best part are the actionable steps given to immediately implement. I will definitely be looking for more courses from you. Thanks.

Yes. Have to have empathy when dealing with customers but didn't relize went so far in organization

As a stoic, I vastly prefer a manager who can give me reasons, not feelings. I am sympathetic rather than empathetic. I do feel many times that manager empathy comes across as disingenuous. On the other hand, active listening should be in everyone's skills, especially managers. Thanks for the look at this topic from the other side.

Good introduction to empathy with emotional intelligence. Well researched course that shows scientific findings. It's organized logically and presented professionally. The subject matter of empathy at work is much needed.

Lots of research on empathy from different fields like neuroscience but also references the Dalai Lama and his ideas on kindheartedness in order to feel empathy, compassion, and sympathy

Great course on empathy in the workplace, especially as a leadership skill and to help me grow my career through building stronger relationships. I also like the connection of emotional intelligence, active listening, empathy, compassion, and sympathy.

I appreciate that this student referenced the teaching of Dalai Lama to teach empathy. The instructor brought in Dalai Lama's idea of kindheartedness. It really made sense to me - great approach and well-though-out course.
