Excel for the Absolute Beginner (Udemy.com)

Great course. Every video is short and to the point which makes it a lot easier to rewatch if you need to re-learn any of the material. I personally thought that this course would cover more in-depth different techniques that weren't covered, but that is mostly my own fault. This course does cover everything you would need to know to use MS Excel competently, but does not cover more difficult topics such as pivot tables or using the VB language to make you an expert-level user.

I'm really grateful. I had no idea about Excel before this course. And now I think I've understood the fundamentals that will take me to more advanced features in Excel. Only thing that would've made this course outstanding, if it had exercises on which one can apply what he'd learned. But hopefully we can find this on Google. Thanks again and waiting for more content to come.

The presenter certainly presented lots of very valuable information, which I liked. I went straight through the course to gain a good overview and now I intend to go through it again more slowly and practise what is being taught on my own worksheet. The only reason I didn't award 5 stars was that I found some of the screens a little difficult to make out; they were great when the presenter zoomed in. Overall, I'm very pleased with the amount of information presented, the pace at which it was presented and the professionalism of the presenter. Thank you Think Forward Online Training.

Functions are explained well, in time with the visual demonstration A minor error I noticed was in the relative/absolute cell referencing demo - the formula used to mark a 3% increase was incorrect. This error does not affect the actual lesson in Excel use though Watching it on mobile, it was hard to see the data and buttons. As most the lesson occurred in the top left of the screen, you could either use a lower screen resolution, or use recording software with zoom function Otherwise a great introduction for absolute beginners! Definitely recommended

This course was very basic for my Excel skills, but for an absolute beginner in spreadsheets is a very useful and quick course.

This course was pretty good. The instructor was not taking too much time that I can feel bored. But it would be better if he teaches us with more information and gives us some excel sheets to practice and make us submit to him.

I've taken Excel classes before and I got more out of this one because it was for absolute beginners. Some courses seem to assume either some practical experience with Excel or they move on too quickly. I actually opened spreadsheets along with the instructor and paused the lesson when necessary. It's nice that you can come back to the lesson if you need any help.

The course has enabled me to understand the features available in an excel application and how to their uses. The tips put forth were very helpful in guiding any excel learner to appreciate the importance of excel as a mathematical tool.

I liked the course and this is pretty basic and as the instructor mentioned this is for absolute beginners. From my experience I have pointed out two glitches as per my understanding. 1- % Calculation formula is wrong. Instead you can use : X*(1+Y%)=Z. 2-Where working on large data sets if you scroll down, you cannot see the header if you don't customize it manually. However even if you have explained it in the video, but you forgot to show it. Thanks and Regards, Archit

This is by far the best course I have seen on udemy on beginners excel. You won't waste any time. Very precise, short and to the money. It took me only 30 min to finish the entire course and practice along with it. If you are new or someone who wants to brush up Excel, this is the place. I hope he adds some more materials that covers basics on Excel 2016 as well. Also, it would be great if he adds charts and more on tables for beginners.
