I really like the courses from Alex and the way he explains things to the point. I am just starting and there are so many helpful insights for me from somebody who knows what he is talking about. To be very clear- it isn't what I expected because it wasn't as much about the coaching experience IN a coaching section, but very helpful tactics about running a coaching business. Good information for that specific band of content.

This was a very good course, detailed and lots of very useful information for starting any new business, not just a coaching business with practical advice and very good grounding for an online business. I enjoyed it and really recommend it.

Some sections of the training at this module were not the right match to me. I believe there is no need for teaching about topics such as time management and outsourcing. Intention here may be to appeal to as many as people as possible; however, it lowers the bar of the overall training

I liked the fact that the course was short and simple. There were some practical tips and tricks and info about entering the coaching industry that I found useful. The discussion format was also nice, because it it's easy to stay engaged with it and the two guys complement each other well. The course focuses on the basics of the business, marketing and lifestyle side of becoming a coach. It doesn't go in depth too much, which is expected given the total amount of lecture time - probably you can dig deeper by turning into Marc's podcast. For me the biggest downside was the absence of info about the 'value creation' process of how do you create an engaging and useful coaching programme or approach. I was expecting more of 'How do I give real value to my customers?', 'How do I measure it?', 'What does a one-on-one or a group session or a programme look like?' 'What does it take to design one?'. When it comes to helping customers succeed, the advice was 'make sure they are motivated, otherwise fire them'. It's a useful tip, but it doesn't really answer the question of how to help them succeed. Such questions for me are much more important and relevant to the course topic than things like how to stay motivated and productive and use tips and tricks to increase your facebook post engagement - there are whole other courses and books on this topic that can help you do those things properly. Overall I am happy to have taken this course and hope the guys will work a bit more on the questions I mentioned. Thanks.

Great nuggets - some I have heard but they are presented in a way that I can relate to. Example: Pick a niche by drilling down till it hurts. Go after 1 on 1 clients at first because they are easier to find. Many talk about creating group coaching programs.

Each short video addresses one specific question that a new coach might ask. And Marc picked perfect questions. Marc covers all aspects of starting a coaching business. I'd also argue that it can be applied to any type of self-employed business. I had some great takeaways on how to set pricing, how to juggle a job and also how to manage my time. Highly recommended.

As someone interested in starting a coaching business, and having spoken to Marc in the past, I was pretty excited to check this out! I was blown away by not only what they spoke of: but the honesty, and delivery of the entire thing. They covered a lot of small details that definitely make up the bigger picture. I took notes.
