Course Description
Master Facial Cupping Massage Techniques for Lymphatic Drainage, Facial Muscles, Wrinkles & Skin
In this Facial Cupping Massage course, Manual Osteopath, Registered Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher Michael Eric Everson guides you through practical facial cupping techniques that can be incorporated into professional massage, facial and aesthetic services.
Facial cupping massage uses small facial cups and controlled suction to work with the skin and superficial tissues of the face, jaw, neck and scalp. When combined with facial massage techniques, facial cupping can be used as a relaxing and rejuvenating addition to a professional treatment.
You’ll learn how to safely handle facial cups, apply appropriate levels of suction, and use specific movements and techniques for different areas of the face. The course also explores facial anatomy, facial muscles, lymphatic drainage concepts and common areas of facial tension.
What You'll Learn
How to perform a professional facial cupping massage
Facial cupping techniques for the face, jaw, chin and neck
How to incorporate facial cupping into a facial massage treatment
Facial massage techniques for areas of muscular tension
Gentle cupping techniques and appropriate suction for delicate facial tissues
Facial cupping techniques associated with lymphatic drainage and reducing the appearance of facial puffiness
How facial cupping can be incorporated into treatments focused on skin appearance and relaxation
Techniques for the jaw and facial muscles, including considerations for clients with jaw tension and bruxism
Facial and sinus massage techniques as part of a broader facial treatment
A complete 10–15 minute facial cupping sequence suitable as an add-on treatment
A self-practice sequence so you can experience the techniques and movements yourself
How to incorporate facial cupping into your existing massage or aesthetic practice
Facial Cupping for Massage & Aesthetic Services
Facial cupping can be used as a standalone facial treatment or as an add-on to massage therapy, facial massage, skin-care and aesthetic services.
Because facial cupping uses smaller cups and gentler suction than many forms of body cupping, the techniques require careful attention to pressure, movement, skin sensitivity and treatment area.
You’ll learn how to work systematically across the face while considering the underlying facial muscles, skin and connective tissues.
Facial Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage & Facial Massage
This course explores the relationship between facial cupping and lymphatic drainage techniques, including gentle directional movements used around the face and neck.
You’ll also learn how facial massage and cupping can be combined to create a relaxing treatment focused on facial tension, puffiness and overall skin appearance.
The course covers areas including:
Forehead and scalp
Eyes and cheeks
Nose and sinus area
Lips and mouth
Jaw and chin
Neck
Facial muscles and areas of tension
Jaw Tension, Bruxism & Facial Massage
The jaw is an important area of facial massage because many clients experience tension around the masseter, temporalis, jaw and neck.
You’ll learn facial cupping and massage techniques that can be incorporated around these areas, including considerations for clients who experience jaw clenching or bruxism.
The course is educational and does not diagnose or treat TMJ disorders or other medical conditions.
Skin Appearance & Facial Rejuvenation
Facial cupping is also commonly incorporated into beauty and facial treatments focused on the appearance of the skin.
You’ll explore techniques that can be used as part of a facial massage routine addressing:
Facial puffiness
The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Skin tone and overall facial appearance
Facial tension
Jawline, chin and neck
Relaxation and rejuvenation
Rather than simply applying suction, you’ll learn specific facial cupping movements, positioning and treatment sequences so you can incorporate the technique into a professional facial or massage service.

This course is an absolute "you got to take" as a massage therapist and need CEU's. As a massage therapist I am looking to incorporate a new angle for my business that is less physical. This class is going to be an amazing offer to my clients. Great instruction, easy understandable flow and I love the technique. I love that he tells us to use it first and then share it. Thank you so much for providing this. Now I am off to take my second course from you!

not sure i would pull on the skin around the eyes like he is doing in this video? It conflicts with other facial cupping videos I've seen. But overall it is a nice sequence for a facial cupping add on.

Second class I am taking from Michael. I've been a massage therapist for 16 years and I have found things to integrate into my massage. Very well explain and informative. I will definitely check out other classes

I am a massage therapist and look forward to incorporating facial cupping in to my other cupping services. This class was easy to following along. My only critique would be, that it would be nice to have a print out option for steps, supplies, and recommended cups. I took notes but they dont always look the best. Thank you for another great class

The mix of theory and visual practical sessions were perfect to give a all round understanding of the treatment to provide for clients and on myself. The teacher explained everything clearly. I can't wait to get started on clients.

I appreciate the instructor's explanations and use of proper medical terminology. I practice cupping, but Dr. Everson gave me more ideas for facial cupping applications such as relieving sinus congestion.
