Course Description
Fastlane has revolutionized the application deployment process. No longer will you have to manually build, sign, and upload your APK's and IPA's manually. Fastlane will take care of that for you. Fastlane also automates the metadata, screenshot, certificate, and provisioning profile setup so you don't have to. If you are serious about deploying apps to the Android and iOS app stores, Fastlane is a must have for your toolkit portfolio.
With this course, we will dive deep into the inner workings of Fastlane. By the end of the course, you will be able to intelligently talk about the app deployment process and how Fastlane automates each task. We do this by breaking down each step piece by piece using a visual based learning approach with flow diagrams and charts. You will also be able to follow me step by step in a real app deployment process.

My name is Cory McAboy and I development apps! Currently, I focus on mobile apps, but I have spent several years in a variety of technical roles at a few different technology companies. I have a strong passion for tearing products apart to understand how they are constructed and how they operate. I have several apps in both app stores that I solely built from the ground up. I want to come share the knowledge I have gained through my experience with all of those throughout the world. Come join me!

CONGRATS MY BRO! Even this was made in 2018, It still works most of it in 2026, of course some things changed, but I would the 80% it's helpful and then as a good developer, use your own skills to solve the issues that occur. 5 STARS!

That was a straightforward course that explained most parts of Fastlane. The only downside is that there are a few things which are outdated. I would recommend checking official Fastlane docs and react native docs in order to be able to follow up with the course.

Missing a few things, like adding your mobile device developer.apple.com and your intro really should include the prices for entry to get an apple developer account (ain't cheap, 130 CAD). but quick, got through the whole thing with little setbacks here are there. nice

it's a good "get started with fastlane" course as it helps you set it up and get a build up, but there are many other things I would've love to see, like managing multiple targets, how to implement some of the plugins mentioned at the end, etc., I guess I expected to go a little more in-depth into fastlane, never the less, as I said at the beginning if your goal is a quick get started guide, this is without a doubt a good place to start.

The course is slightly outdated yet still stays relevant. Had to research a bit on my own and you really do not get any answers. The course should be updated and the author should consider students you have no experience with the App Store or Play store. For example, I didn't know I cannot proceed without adding an actual device UUID to the App store connect portal.

Generally this course helped me a lot, but should be updated. For example, how to upload aab (android app bundle) to GooglePlay and some other things which I can't recall now, but was able to figure out with googling it. Thank you.

There is quite a lot to set up for Fastlane and the documentation, as usual, may not get you all the way. The instructor on this course is extremely clear in his explanations. I was implementing Fastlane for an existing app, so there were a few issues to google along the way. However, this course proved invaluable in getting Fastlane set up.

Complete course with nice real examples to how to deploy to PlayStore and App Store Just a reminder, you must have access to PlayStore and App Store, otherwise you will have to pay $25 (one-time) for Android and $99 yearly for Apple

Managed to reduced the learning curve. Since this is recorded in 2018, some contents are outdated. E.g. 2 factor authentication for the developer acccount etc... Perhaps can improve the content for enterprise network environment setup as well. (e.g. without github access to use match)

After the video I were able to automate deployment of my two react-native apps. So it worked perfectly to me. The subject it's not so deep but the video worthed to me. Was exactly what I needed. 100% recommended to those who want to save time when deploying apps to stores.
