Jay explains each and every term of Film Scoring in detail, so that even a beginner may understand everything.
So, if you already know a bit about composing for visual media and audio production, this might start off as boring for you, but I suggest that you still watch it because all the terms are explained really well. It really helps to improve your vocabulary regarding film scoring and its professional terminology.

Some great tips in here, J! Just completed the course and it was very informative for myself (or really any musician or engineer just starting out in movie soundtrack scoring.) I now have a much better understanding of A) the importance of utilizing music theory, and B) some sweet film scoring tricks and shortcuts through the lessons and film analyses. Great choice in films btw (no spoilers) and it was fun watching you build from scratch with the old time-y flick. The only thing that would have made this better for me personally, is if it was shown in Pro Tools, haha, but since it was a video with much more emphasis on the WHY behind everything scoring, I could have been editing within with any software and still gotten some great value. That was my biggest fear when buying the course, but all in all, awesome work friend and glad I did! Cheers! - Rob
