Hello Sir, I'm new in the world of business and i have enrolled in many courses here on Udemy and found most to be advance to teach business concepts like you do. Your way of teaching simplifies things even my child can comprehend what you narrate and be able to take what was taught and implement. Most of us come from a background of engineering and other non finance/business fields and are not well versed when it comes to finance and business topics. May you continue to produce content such as this to help us navigate the world of finance and business? how to create a business plan, topics such as customer journey map and business marketing. I appreciate you Sir. I will definitely take your teaching and apply them. Thank you.

Would have liked to see more examples and better definition of differences in how early stage startups value businesses vs at Series C. Just saying early stage startups that haven't shown traction 'negotiate their businesses value' is not sufficient. There are numerous frameworks used to value early stage companies in seed and pre-seed stages.

For those who wants to have a general understanding of how to draft financial projections and define a rough valuation of their business. However, the course does not give hints about drafting in a solid way the forecasting assumptions that is the key to have a great financial plan.

Well, the purpose of doing this course was to understand the steps involved in working out funding requirements and the dilution models for a startup. Certainly the lessons were quite detailed and importantly, the Excel sheet explanation was helpful. Thanks again .

Good course, but I expected examples of tech startups. Also the excel resource could be more friendly. I also ask a valuation professional if the P/E multiple is the right approach for valuations to which she said not always. It would have been nice to mention and maybe discuss the EV/EBITDA valuation methodology as well.

The course is well structured and presented in a simplified manner. It has indeed helped me in properly understanding the financial modeling and valuation techniques. I feel better equipped to handle the intricacies of finances in my startup business.

This is a good course for beginners with more emphasis on accounting concepts than finance. Therefore, the course caters mainly to those interested in starting a small business rather than entrepreneurs looking for creative financial modeling and valuation techniques. Nevertheless, I found this course a nice overview on basics. The commentary and teaching pace can be improved. I had to scroll the play button to speed through the course. For example the instructor keeps repeating basic teachings such as copying values of a cell in every video. I also argue in most beginner courses teachers make this mistake of over-explaining everything, which dumbs down the entire experience. Just because students have no finance background doesn't mean they are first graders, slow learners, don't know excel or have difficulty with math. So I encourage instructors to consider their user persona while creating these videos. Lastly thanks a lot for your contribution and sharing your knowledge.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is starting up a business. This will be extremely helpful. Improvement Area - Cash flow statement explanation could be better. I am still not clear with the topics. Though I could complete my Cash Flow Statement, but not having solid grasp over the concept.

This is great for beginners because it is broken down step by step and is repetitive. He doesn't gloss over any topics or make it confusing. I will be watching the course again when I fill out my own spreadsheet. and follow exactly as he says!
