Simply amazing! Deffinetelly not easy, espetially for a beginner, but absolutelly worth it! Get ready for some pain and suffering, but also for joi and happines after you hear the sound of your new guitar skills!

I wish all guitar courses were broken down like this. I love that I'm learning real music right out of the gate, and even the exercises are beautiful and have become some of my favorite warmups to play. I feel like I'm excelling faster in the past few weeks than I have in ten years.

This is an excellent course for absolute beginners as well as for players interested in learning Fingerstyle. The steps are explained carefully and thoroughly, in a clear and steady voice, and at a pace that makes it easy to absorb what is being taught. The videos make clear what each finger on each hand is doing. The songs are well chosen and illustrate the various techniques well. I highly recommend the course to all.

I've been working on playing along with these class videos for a few years now, and I really enjoy how approachable this class is. My job can be demanding on my hands, so I have to take time to rest, but when I get back to it, it's always enjoyable!

I’ve been trying to learn finger style guitar from watching YouTube videos, but most of the tutorials go too fast and I can’t see their fingers on the fret board. I am loving this course so far and 3 lessons in I can already see a difference.

This course is easy to follow along and has some musicality to it. My thumb slap quality isnt consistent yet, but I'm focusing on the song's timing. I think the thumb slaps will sound better given enough practice.

I was using Yousician for over a year, First time I try this course on Udemy and the amount of things I learned in 3 days can't be even compared to months of other platforms. looking forward for trying other courses from this author! Thank you

Yes, a good match so far. However, a little constructive criticism is necessary in my view. Despite demonstrating the song in increments slowly, and then faster, guidance is missing to inform the student how to practice the piece, and for how long, using the resource sheet music before proceeding with the next steps like Play Along, or the next lesson. Also, the sheet music should show the chord diagrams for the fingerings in addition to just the tabs and notes. The shapes are important to know for fluid play. Yes the videos show them, but they are not consistently named or referenced. To me, I don't think this course is for absolute beginners, despite how it is advertised. I say it is for maybe advanced beginners or intermediate guitar players, which I am. I do like the instructors calm and relaxed approach, but a little better coaching, encouragement and empathy for the student is needed along the way so that the student does not get frustrated and quit.

Songs are good. Some recognizable songs and challenging. Definitely not a beginner "learn to play fingerstyle" type course. Was hoping to see some more fingerstyle techniques and methods but it's all focused on song playing.
