Course Description

Have you ever filmed a beautiful dish only to watch the video back and wonder why it suddenly looked flat, dull, or unappetizing? Well..You’re not alone.

Most beginner food creators focus on gear, camera settings, or complicated editing tricks when the real difference comes from understanding how food behaves on video.

In this course, I’ll show you how to create mouthwatering food videos using nothing more than your iPhone and a simple, repeatable workflow.

We’ll start with the foundations of food videography, including what makes food look good on camera, how to use natural light, which iPhone settings actually matter, and the essential shots that make food feel irresistible.

From there, you’ll learn how to style and compose food specifically for video, guide attention through framing, and create scenes that feel clean, intentional, and appetizing.

Finally, we’ll bring everything together inside CapCut, where you’ll learn how to edit your footage, improve pacing, enhance color, choose music, and export polished videos ready for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or your business.

By the end of this course, you’ll have a complete food video, a repeatable workflow, and the confidence to create content that looks professional without needing expensive equipment or years of experience.

Why I teach?

I believe that education makes the world a better place and our generation is so blessed with the availability of information specially online. Over the past years I have immersed in studying and researching and that’s when I discovered my calling for teaching. I did not want all the learnings to stop with me, I had a strong burden to share it with the world and somehow make someone’s life easier by collating and turning my mistakes, knowledge and experiences into a well organised online course. There is nothing more beautiful than giving and changing a person’s life through teaching.

So far, the content isn't going deep enough with detailed examples. All the content is surface level.

I haven’t learned a single useful thing from this course. It does cover the whole videography flow but it is too shallow - it gives no details about why this or that should be done. For example, in lighting section the instructor kept saying “you need good light” (obvious thing) without eventually explaining how to achieve good light (what angle of light is best for camera, how to avoid harsh light or how to set or adjust equipment). She just explained what she set up in her particular situation but there will be others which are different, so she gives no structured basic knowledge that can be applied later. This can be said about every section - unless you want to recreate her lasagna and milkshake videos and have all the same equipment that she does, I don’t believe this course gives you knowledge to succeed. I am an amateur food videographer and I am disappointed because whatever she explained - I naturally understood once I made just a few of videos, this doesn’t require any knowledge, just experience. But if you want to make your videos look even a little bit more professional than what you currently can do, you will need a way deeper knowledge than whatever this course provides.

não era o que eu esperava, pois fala muito mais de edição do que da produção do vídeo propriamente dita.

I loved the explanation of usage of Adobe Premiere Pro because at the first sight it seems overhelming but it's full of potential! I really liked that Rose went through all the process from beginning (planning, props, idea) to the end (post-production)! I would like to heard more marketing tips and how to find clients with food videography.

I am enjoying it. I am going slowly because I am writing everything down. A transcript in PDF form would be nice.

You were very inviting throughout the course! Really, encouraged me to go get it done! Well done! Nothing sort of amazing and looking forward more courses! Cheers!

I was exactly looking for this type of course. I had similar plan and it is good to see confirmation of my ideas in this course. Loving it so far!
