Who is your instructor?

Hi there! My name is Rose! I am a Photographer, Videographer and Online Course Creator from the Philippines. My work is focused on events, food and product photography and creating courses to share practical tips from my experiences. I made so many mistakes and bought gear and props I haven't used up to this day. In my courses I share everything. From mistakes to avoid and techniques to help cultivate your photography and videography skills. :) I have taught over 90,000 people locally and globally on how to create scroll stopping food and product photos and here are a few words from some of them:

“If you are thinking of buying the course, do it. You will learn something helpful. Rose is a good instructor and she maintains a good pace. I am not a beginner and have been taking and editing my own product photos for a couple of years. But they looked kind of ...meh... The sections on Color, Composition, Branding, and Planning were real eye-openers for me - I am going to go back and redo all my photo sets (about 30) using the concepts taught by Rose. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Good instructor. The material is presented clearly and the target audience is complete beginner - someone who may not have a camera other than the one on their phone. It is a quick flyover of the basics of product photography aimed at someone is a first-timer and wondering how to improve their images. Completely un-intimidating and very down-to-earth and helpful. UPDATE: I am now in the section on Composition and Color. This is game-changing for me. I will be revising all of my product photos based on this information. THIS SECTION ALONE IS WORTH SEVERAL TIMES THE AMOUNT OF TIME AND MONEY I AM INVESTING IN THIS COURSE. BRAVO!” - Mark C.

“Perfect for a beginners' course. Short, to the point, and easy to do in one sitting! I'll be diving deeper into the videos when I put these tips in action. I liked how Rose expressed the importance of using what you currently have before splurging for fancy equipment” - Nika T.

“Best photography course I ever took. Very practical, easy to understand and Rose is wonderful! I learned so much!” - Shiran A.

"This course is simply amazing. It's very detailed and easy to follow. I didn't know much about shooting my own products, but she did a great job of simplifying the process and now I have the confidence and knowledge to shoot my own products." -Valerie

“I just love the course ! It exceeded my expectations. It is just so practical and so genuine and professional.” - Bassem M.

Why I teach?

I believe that education makes the world a better place and our generation is so blessed with the availability of information specially online. Over the past years I have immersed in studying and researching and that’s when I discovered my calling for teaching. I did not want all the learnings to stop with me, I had a strong burden to share it with the world and somehow make someone’s life easier by collating and turning my mistakes, knowledge and experiences into a well organised online course. There is nothing more beautiful than giving and changing a person’s life through teaching.

While I've been an active photography enthusiast for a number of years, I had no idea how to go about doing product photography. It has been so very worthwhile, opening my eyes to what has always been there that I didn't/couldn't see. I am an engineer by training, not an artist, and so this course has awakened me to the 'tools' of the trade and the realization that I can also apply myself to product photography assignments and create something unique from my point of view. I am so delighted. Next is to work at it, refine my vision and eye and improve my competence in this area.

The course have been really good so far. But sad that I'm only halfway through lol I thought I was way more further but they could think about that. I'll be much better when this is done if I'm only halfway through right now. I was able to purchase some really good equipment and great lighting. My only question so far is just when to use the grid on my octagon lighting source and when not to?

its nice hope that it will help me in my work

The cadence of her speech makes it hard to follow what she is saying. She also goes through the information too fast for me to take notes. Also, her presentation is just not natural and feels forced and is, thus, irritating. Her resources are partially helpful, but she leaves out pertinent information on them. It would be better if she had guides that summarized the most important information. I have to keep pausing the video to take notes because she goes fast and does not do a review at the end of the lesson. She just needs help in being a more effective teacher and using teaching techniques that are helpful for learning. I do like her demos. They are quite helpful. The information is solid and helpful.

Exactly what I was looking for! I enrolled in three different product photography courses on Udemy, and this course by Rose was the standout. Despite having prior photography experience, I wanted to expand into product photography to enhance the visuals of my ecommerce store. I'm excited to apply what I've learned to create eye-catching photos for both my store and social media. I highly recommend this course. Thank you, Rose, for such an easy-to-follow, engaging, and resource-packed experience!

Looking at my photos before this course and now, I definitely see improvement. She helped me understand the basics and build from there. For me, it was comforting and reassuring to hear her personal struggles and experience, it was helpful to see her demos. Her courses are informative, educational and helpful, and she is so easy to listen and follow. Thank you Nene, it has been a delight!

Rose taught so many important points that I have not seen anywhere else. For example, researching and planning a layout, diago nals and lines, the use of props, and the simplicity of using the tools at hand. Such as a worn deflector card. I no longer feel overwhelmed by what accessories I need for a good product shoot! I love her style, and am enjoying using all of the rules and tips she has shown. I know I will be coming back to this course regularly as I experience different products and situations to photograph. Thank you for a most excellent course! Patti B.

I took this course as a component of my undergraduate senior project. It was a great course, I learned a lot about the specifics of product photography which is something I've wanted to learn for a long time, but haven't had professional lessons on until this course with Rose. I found the demo videos showing the live process of setting up the scene and preparing the products very helpful, as well as the explanations of how to use techniques like color theory, diagonal lines and the rule of thirds. I'd take the course again!

By Bartosz Krzepiłko on 8/25/2023

Very nice course for beginners. Rose showed that we don't need camera camera worth thousands of $ to make good product photos. I was really surprise how pleasant to listen was theory lectures. Maybe good idea would be to dive deeper in Lightroom or Photoshop, but what I learned in this part of course was enough for the beginner. I found her channel on YT, subscribed and I would be very happy to see some videos from her real photo projects for customers.

By Lester M. Chambers on 6/28/2023

This is a very good beginner product photography course for those that are new to photography. Rose does an excellent job of explaining and providing examples on how to take photos of clothing, shoes and cosmetics. She also includes a photo editing section that comes in handy. This course does not talk about how to get clients or the business side of product photography.
