Course Description

After 20+ years I was working in Procurement – I decided to compile a really useful and practical course.

This course is for you if you:

- would like to know practical tips and advice regarding procurement and supply chain management,

- don't have the formal education, but want to know the basic tools and methods used in the world class Procurement organizations,

- want to understand the basic knowledge and some advanced principals in a very short period of time..

And as you already understood, we learn step-by-step here. We have designed the course in four steps, and the best approach to learning would be to take one step in one week.

So I recommend you to make the course in four weeks. This will give you a decent time to think through and study all the materials, to digest the info, and what is the most important - to apply the information you learn!

In the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Understand the role and importance of Procurement in the company

  • Design and build your Procurement Organization based on 14 cornerstones of Procurement Organization

  • Develop, implement and follow-up the KPI’s for your Procurement Organization

  • Optimize your work with Suppliers Portfolio

  • Proactively manage suppliers in Competitive and Cooperative modes, involving Value Stream Mapping and Risk assessment

  • Create the Long term directions and Strategic sourcing plans for your Procurement Organization

  • and much more...

This course was prepared based on my own experience and the best practices I have used by myself. Also this course contains some theoretical knowledge but mostly practical steps and advice that are used by the world class companies and supply chain managers.

I do all my courses in a way that I would like to listen to the course on my own as well. So the material is easy to follow and understand, well structured and presented in a simple and straightforward way. And what is the most important – you can start using the tools and the knowledge already after finishing the course!

I am proud of the materials collected in this course and I am sure that you will bring your Procurement knowledge to the very next level! Also I am sure that you will improve your organization and your career!

Have a look into the preview lessons. If you like them - just go for the course. You will not regret it!

I am trying to get a job in procurement. I have been in teaching for 20 years and this course was filled with a wealth of information. I took a lot of notes and look forward to learning more about procurement. Thank you for laying the information out very strategically and building upon each topic while circling back and showing how important and intertwined each step is.

"Sir, I really appreciate the way you explained the basic procurement topics. Your approach was clear, concise, and easy to understand. You made the complex concepts feel manageable and ensured that each topic was covered thoroughly. Your ability to break down the information and provide relatable examples made the learning process enjoyable. I feel much more confident in my understanding of procurement thanks to your efforts. Thank you for such a great explanation!"

The course is excellent, very easy to understand, and delivers valuable information that professionals working in cost modeling, sourcing, and procurement can utilize effectively.

I recently completed this course that provided a wealth of valuable information, yet the overall experience was hindered by its slow delivery and format. While the content itself was commendable, the method of delivery left much to be desired. Positives: The course contained a plethora of useful and insightful information. The content was well-researched and presented in a comprehensive manner. Concepts were explained thoroughly, and I found myself gaining valuable knowledge throughout the duration of the course. Negatives: Unfortunately, the delivery of the course fell short of expectations. The pace was notably slow, making it challenging to maintain engagement. To compensate, I had to resort to watching the material at 1.5 times the speed, which detracted from the overall learning experience. Moreover, the course primarily relied on a long PowerPoint presentation format, which felt monotonous and lacked variety. Overall Rating: 3.5/5

The training is well structured. We go through all the concept of procurement and can benefit of the experience of a real professional in the field. The support are clear and well chosen. The training is split in different chapter including their practice of the new acquired knowledge. It's perfect to learn and remember these precious pieces of advice. I warmly recommend this training to anybody working in the field or planning to do so.

By Paolo Romano on 12/13/2023

My main issue with this course is that the material could fit into 3 hours, and it got bloated into 8 hours of fluff. The first chapter is useful only for someone that has no clue about procurement and can be entirely skipped, other chapters have a few good tips here and there, but in general the contents are very generic, you could find most of this stuff online for free.

I'm so glad to have the opportunity to learn with this course. The instructor has an excellent didactic and a lot of good recommendation of tools to apply and get a better results in Procurement Area.

By Dominic Tarte on 12/20/2022

Setting some clear examples of how the "best" companies are managed would be a very good base for giving all procurement employees food for thought. KPI, commodity management, direct vs indirect purchases. etc..

By Mahmoud Ismail on 12/30/2020

It is really adding too much to my knowledge about the procurement processes and how to deal with all stakeholders. Understanding new tools and techniques for evaluation, negotiations and how to take the proper decisions.
