I must say i have learnt a lot about the role of Procurement specialist. People have different views about procurement officers or the role of procurement. Their role is just to buy and sale and I totally disagree. For any company to remain in business or succeed, such company will have to ensure he has a sound procurement team. The procurement team must ensure at all times, they feed the company with the right products, at the right price, at the right time, at the right quantity, at the quality and at the right place. The role of procurement is much more than just buying and selling.
