Born and raised in Canada, I've been surrounded by lots of different cultures and languages my whole life. I have a degree in French and Italian Studies; and I also speak Spanish. Over the years, I have picked up a bit of Portuguese, Mandarin, and Dutch also. One of my passions is travelling around the world. My travels have taken me to almost 30 countries, and I have met friends in many countries, using my fluency in French, Italian, and Spanish.
Outside of my work on Udemy, I am a College French professor, a travel blogger (on The Travelling Linguist), and a YouTuber. The teacher doesnt always pronounce all words shown. Some videos are edited very badly and the supporting text doesnt match what he is saying. Also missing some additional material or resources that help us remember what we have seen, for example, a pdf with all the pronunciation tips so you can have a reference.
