As someone who's been doing real estate and interior design photography for 10 years - I wanted to expand my knowledge and learn more about Architectural Photography. I was left with alot of new little nuggets of informations regarding composition, art history, editing processes and the technical side of taking the photos. Thank you for all the little tricks of the game.

This course was more into the fundamentals, as mentioned in the course's title, which is more about what and why, instead of how. Recommended if you're interested in the background of the architecture photography itself. Technically, I wish that I could see more in-field sessions, about how to photograph a building from A-Z, and get a detailed preview of the editing session, which unfortunately, I can watch more of this type of information on YouTube rather than here. But for sure, this is such an incredible course!

More than what I expected. Steven Brooke is a successful architectural photographer and if you want to follow in his footsteps and make a career of it, he shares his valuable knowledge and encourages you to study some classical artists. I am wondering if his e-book provides even more information, but I prefer printed books.

I had a fantastic time learning through this lesson. It was my first purchase on Udemy, and I can confidently say it was worth it. Photography has always been my passion, and this course deepened my understanding and love for it. The lecturer provided meaningful and insightful content from the beginning to the end, presenting each concept with clarity and expertise. I truly appreciated the practical tips and real-world examples, which made the learning experience engaging and valuable. I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned to enhance my skills further!

I really enjoyed learning from this course I feel like it has really improved my understanding of composition and how to compose and image that is really appealing to the eye. The best part of the course was the interior one I feel like I will practice this one the most to create great interior shots for my portfolio. If you are looking to become an architectural photographer this is the course for you.

Especially for beginners, it shows what it's all about in an informative, compact and competent manner. The regular reference to fine art in painting, printing and sculpture is particularly appealing. It impressively shows that following rules and good preparation works reilably, regardless of era, and can deliver impressive/expressive results. Presumably you will have to watch the course repeatedly to grasp everything and occasionally use it as a reference? In my opinion, no one who is seriously interesetd in this topic should skip this course. A good investment!

Best corse i watched so far . It is like a treasures book that i would keep on my shelf and go back again and again. And so i do. I was looking for lessons about composition in architectural photography that would explain everything in detail . Haven’t seen any that would do that with such in depth explanation and backing it up with examples, lots of them , pinpointing all aspects on that topic . Thank you very much.

Yes, it was, unfortunately, there are bits that feel outdated. But the core was very interesting

Section 3: The Rules of Composition and Systems alone was worth the price. The entirety is packed with in depth and useful information, not only for beginners but more advanced photographers as well. This isn't just a quickly thrown together course. A lot of time and care has been put into this, referencing decades of experience. I highly recommend this course.
