Course Description

In this Fundamentals of Programming course you will learn in a basic and very complete way the most elementary notions about software development. This course will give a complete overview of all the most basic concepts to learn how to program, which will allow you to understand any language thanks to the general perspective that you will acquire. In fact, throughout the course you will learn how to apply each new idea in 9 different languages simultaneously.

Youwilllearn the basics of programming in several of the mainareas of software development:

  • Web Development

  • Mobile ApplicationDevelopment

  • Desktop ApplicationDevelopment

I encourage you to take a look at the syllabus and any of the classes that are available before you buy the course and you will certainly want to see the rest of the course.

The languages that we will see in this course are the following:

  • Python

  • Ruby

  • JavaScript

  • PHP

  • Java

  • Go

  • C

  • C++

  • C#

In addition, you will have downloadable educational material, suggested exercises and examples of real-life software usage, so that you can understand how such programs have been developed and know how to do it yourself.

The course is divided into several sections:

  • Introduction to Programming

In this section you will understand what programming is, what programming languages are, what different types of languages there are, how they interact with the machine's processor, you will know what's really going on internally, which areas of development exist and in which languages they can be carried out, as well as the different tools you can use to program in each of the 9 languages addressed in the course.

  • Data Handling

Here you will learn the types of data that exist, how each language handles them, how to do operations with values and advanced resources such as arrays and multi-dimensional matrices, to store mass data.

  • Structured Programming

In this section you will understand how the execution flow of the instructions written in the program’s code works, so you will learn how to take control of the execution and decide what your program should do at each moment.

  • Modular Programming

Discover the most basic ways to group the code in independent blocks to have all the instructions better organized and in an optimized way. This will help you to maintain and visually understand the execution process.

  • ObjectOrientedProgramming (OOP)

You don't really know how to program if you don't understand Objects, what they are, how they work, how to create and manage them, as well as how to establish Inheritance between Objects and the use of Polymorphism. In this section I will show you all these things with several practical examples.

All concepts are explained in detail, step by step, and with an emphasis on explaining the purpose of each thing. This way you will be able to lay the foundations of your professional development from the very beginning. This course will allow you to expand into any area of software development.

Isn't it great? Best part of it all is that it's within your reach.

Buy the course and enjoy everything that is awaiting you.

See you soon!

Could be better. It's a lot of money for not very much substance. At the same time though there is enough to get started but for anything more than the very bare basics try other free materials. Try to learn a single language before learn 9 at the same time...

it distinguishes all 9languages in one template. its useful to know more edit: this course is not engaging, if u have difficulty in imagining, this is not for you. the course is good, explained all the basics. this course is not made in english, it was originally made in a foreign language, and later dubbed to english i guess. the voice is not matching with the video. and if u have already took computer science or any other like this in higher secondary, u dont have to enroll for this course. this is verybasic. this is for complete beginners.

It's a good option for beginners. However, it would be awesome if the users could review their test results in real time. Udemy has this system, and it's really helpful to see the progress. Thanks for this course :)

Good and clear instructions with clarifying examples. Exercises included. I would maybe expect a bit more about what happens between the programming and the computer software or hardware, but I guess that could be a course in itself. The syntax examples can be a bit confusing, as it may be difficult to understand for a beginner what in the text are modifiers and data types for instance, as compared to variable names etc. Could be clearer by use of text color. But all in all a very concise and clear course

This is the best course for the beginner like me. The course describes an overview, different points and same points of each Programming Language. Help me make a decision for what programming language I want to learn first and next. Thanks a lot for this course.

Good course to understand the fundamentals, programming languages and the why on many things. Don't expect to know how to code after completing this or any course, this will give you the understanding so you can start to practice and build stuff by your own which is what ultimately will teach you how to code

Dubbed in English, A little distracting, but the content seems pretty solid, 1/3 done, will probably finish it. Getting this course before going to college for CS.. Had some Js knowledge but wanted to get a good overview of other languages I'll probably have to come across and/or use

Based on an early career in programming, I would only recommend this course to beginning programmers. As stated in the course description, many of the fundamentals were covered; however, the material will not benefit advanced programmers. During the complex topics, such as OOP or pointers, I generally found that the translation of the material became much harder to understand. In these times, the instructor was sometimes hard to interpret and the hand gestures were confusing rather than being helpful. With the complex explanations, visuals usually obstructed the view too. As other reviewers noted, all of the videos are out of sync, but this only causes an issue when trying to comprehend the ideas using the instructor's body language. Some might consider it an annoyance. Ultimately, this course is very short and serves as a good introduction to the ideas of programming. For those with more ambition to learn coding, it might be of better use to spend your time on a longer course where greater detail on a given topic is provided.

So far it seems very well done and well explained, and I trust more will be explained later. There's a good amount of passion in these first couple videos, as well as showing some examples of how programming from one language to another is similar. I look forward to the next videos and gaining a better understanding of general programming, especially in these languages.

By Zee Perez Canals on 12/10/2020

The content is super clear and concise, which can be hard to do when explaining such complex concepts to people who are new to computer languages. You can tell that the instructor knows what he's talking about and there's no fluff. Really enjoying the course so far!
