I really enjoyed this course. I haven't been able to get into learning for ages, and was feeling hesitation, but it really inspired me. I found the content really helpful. Some have said it was a bit too much but for me I really liked how comprehensive it is and the perspectives the presenter takes in terms of really thinking about how technology will impact future work. The amount of work that has gone into the resources is pretty incredible. I did find that I wanted to have the whole lot to hand to go back to as it was too much to easily go through each resource at the time (even though the presenter said that was the optimal way to do it). I have played a few segments to friends and it's created a lot of discussion. I watched it on 1.75x as that is how my brain best focuses. I got a real sense of care as well, which is kind of interesting given that you are not actually meeting a person but their kindness and goodwill came across strongly to me. As someone who is likely neurodivergent I find that I really gel with neurodivergent presenters (the presenter notes he is dyslexic) because of the breadth and complexity, visual systems of many neurodivergent thinkers. This can be too broad for some people, but for me this is fantastic. Thank you.

Good introduction but I know a lot of this content already. My favourite podcast is one by Mark Pesce (the Next Billion Seconds) which focusses on technology. Lots of the stuff that has been discussed thus far I am already familiar with, although it does give me more/different information with is very helpful. I'm very much enjoying the content but I'm just very limited for time at the moment.

Good voice - not one that will make me sleep. Honestly i skipped some parts, and overall the course and the assignments can get quite long. I would love to take my time and digest and read the extra materials, but this was mandated by my organisation to complete within x months of joining, and i think that did hamper the experience a bit.

This was a great course for me a the perfect time! I am in the process of upskilling and reskilling and this reassured me that the steps I am taking will ensure my relevance in an ever changing work environment going forward! I would encourage you to take the time and really delve into the various assignments! Well worth the time!

I sincerely appreciate the effort by Dr Carroll to provide us with a comprehensive overview of the technological changes that we need to be prepared for. It's a great course especially for those who want to better understand how we can adapt to these changes. Thank you also for the many useful resources and recommendations!

Great taster for the upcoming technologies that will change our lives in unprecedented ways. Found that it went into too much details for some technologies (for my purpose). But learners can always choose fast forward on some areas where they already know about or were less interested in. Best thing about the video - a great reminder on how things are changing rapidly and the need to remain ready to renew oneself to stay relevant & ahead in life/work.

This is definitely a very long, but very insightful online course i ever attended. This course definitely gives a very good overview of the 4th industrial revolution, and help us gain a better awareness on the things that we can do to be prepare for it. Overall, it was a very intense information loading.

This course has provided me a very rich learning experience on the Fourth Industrial Revolution. There is so much valuable knowledge Dr. Thomas Carroll shared based on his in-depth research coupled with the rich resources he has provided. He has also impressed upon me to embrace change by adopting life-long learning acquiring both hard and soft skills essential as a competent professional. There is however one suggestion to compile the resources based on section and topics in one downloadable document so that there is no to click the resources one by one which can be quite time consuming. Thank you very much.

While there are always small technical details to nitpick, this was a good overview of new technologies that will be changing the world we live and work in.

excellent resources, well aware and gather all information about the course, provided summary at end of each session and more. you will learn alot not only new technology but also for how learn, location providing learning and help in managing your life, he advice new generation on path they need to follow as well existing employee...etc
