I learned a lot about the icons, the incredible number of instruments available and I loved the section where you can transform the sounds. There is also recording tracks and so many other things. An excellent overview of Garage band.

it is pretty good although the material goes by pretty fast. important to get in there and practice before you forget what is what. garageband is a fairly intuitive program and so with regular use and practice it is pretty easy to use.

Many courses will teach you how to make a song in GarageBand, step by step. This course is a gem because it not only teaches you how to make a song, but leaves you with an intuitive understanding of how to use GarageBand. You'll get the 'why' instead of just memorizing steps, which means you can branch out into your own projects. And all in about an hour of video. Terrific!

I never had any real desire to know anything about Garageband other than creating ringtones from music I enjoy listening, so when I saw an opportunity to know more through this introductory course I decided to make the most of it. Having completed the course I can say that I've a better understanding of how to use Garageband.
