Course Description
Learn to build blazing fast apps and websites with React using Gatsby 5, a modern static PWA (Progressive Web App) generator! Starting from scratch, you’ll learn to build a full-featured blog application step by step.
Gatsby 5 is a React-based, GraphQL-powered static site framework. It combines the best of React, webpack, React Router, GraphQL, and other cutting-edge front-end tools to deliver an exceptional developer experience. Unlike traditional static site generators, Gatsby 5 goes beyond static — offering powerful features like SSR (Server-Side Rendering), DSG (Deferred Static Generation), and blazing-fast build performance.
In this course, you’ll explore how to:
Build pages, components, and layouts in Gatsby 5
Manage and optimize assets efficiently
Style your sites using Styled Components and other modern CSS techniques
Fetch and manage data using GraphQL
Create dynamic pages and posts from Markdown
Automatically optimize and load images using the updated gatsby-plugin-image
Deploy and configure your Gatsby 5 site as a progressive web app
By the end, you’ll be ready to use Gatsby 5 in real-world projects — whether for blogs, portfolios, or full-scale web apps.
If you:
Already know some React and want to take your skills to the next level
Enjoy project-based, fast-paced learning
Want to stay ahead in modern front-end development
Aim to become a top contender for high-demand developer roles
Then this Gatsby 5 Mastery Course is perfect for you!

I'm new to Gatsby and eager to learn how to build both e-commerce and static websites with it.

Not sure about the purpose of this course. The entire course consists of high-level explanations of 50% gatsby functionality and other 3 parties libraries. So, if you want to get familiar with gatsby, reading the official documentation is way faster and more productive. If you are familiar with gatsby and want to learn something in advanced level, then there is nothing about gatsby in a bit advanced level. In fact its just a retelling of a small part of the documentation with a larger amount of unrelated topics.

It is very informative and well explained. I barely know Gastby and react but I am understanding the processes pretty fast

Very well structured - much stronger overview than your typical intro course. This workable project can easily be modified or improved on.

Initially I felt it was an uphill task as I don't have basics of ReactJs and nor the confidence. But now It became much easier to understand and Thanks a lot for such an wonderful explanation.

boring, not very engaging, he's clearly reading off a script and not really explaining why some steps are done. He just reads straight off the gatsby docs site which anyone can do, needs to explain the concepts better. feels like some things are included for the sake of being included - eg how does adding in graphql help us? why do we need to access the metadata? etc they might be useful, but just doesnt seem clear what the point of it all is.

I am very pleased with this course. The instructor is extremely thorough and thoughtful in his teaching, and this course is preparing me to start my own portfolio website with Gatsby.
