IMPORTANT  << Learning Path:  GenAI Developer / Architect on AWS  >>

Many learners ask how to switch their career to an AWS Generative AI Developer or Architect and which sequence of my Udemy courses they should follow. Here is some guidance based on my experience working in the IT industry.

My GenAI/Agentic AI courses are divided into two tracks

  • Hands-On learning to build real world skills required in the IT industry (Most important)

  • Certification preparation to help you pass the certification exam (Good to have)

<< Hands-On Courses >>

1. Hands-On Course 1  (Beginner) - Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q & AWS Generative AI [Hands-On]

Start here if you’re new to GenAI & Amazon Bedrock.

2. Hands-On Course 2 (Intermediate) - Build Production Ready AI Agents on AWS – Bedrock, CrewAI & MCP

Take this after Course 1 - Focused on Agentic AI but will be easier to understand if you have taken Course 1

3. Hands-On Course 3 (Advanced) - Amazon Bedrock AgentCore : Deploy AI Agents on AWS

This is the advanced course and focused on how to deploy, scale, and operate AI agents in Production.

Recommend to take after Course 1 & Course 2.

<< AWS GenAI Certification Path >>

1. Certification Course 1 : AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) – Beginner to Advanced

· Take after Step 1, or

· In parallel with Step 2

Outcome
You pass AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) and understand GenAI concepts AWS expects.

2. Certification Course 2 : AWS Certified Generative AI Developer Professional (Coming Soon)

In a sane world we would all be teachers! Fortunately, there are gifted teachers who despite the insanity still provide instruction for those who seek knowledge, experience and understanding. Rahul is not only a gifted instructor, but brings real world expertise to his presentations. He stands at the intersection of software engineering, AI and Cloud computing and teaches with a confidence that comes only from real world experience and hands on execution. Great material from a world class instructor!

This was OK. It would be a good course if it wasn't so out of date. Marketing it as 2026 is pretty misleading considering that the code is totally out of date (adding a few extra videos is not good enough) and the videos of setting up an AWS KnowledgeBase are from 2024 and the console has changed so much as to make the video almost useless. That said, from watching this course and doing a bit of my own research I did manage to build a RAG bot using knowledgeBase that ingested S3 docs and crawled my website and can answer questions accurately. I will buy the author's agentcore course, agentcore is less than a year old so that course cannot be that much out of date!

One of the things I like about this course is the teaching approach. The instructor starts with the fundamentals and theory before diving into implementation details, which makes even complex topics easier to understand. I especially liked how each concept, term, and technology was introduced with sufficient background and context before moving into deeper discussions. This helped build a clear understanding of not just how things work, but also why they work that way. The sections on Amazon Bedrock, RAG, and AWS Kiro were well-structured and practical. Overall, this course provides a strong foundation for anyone looking to learn Generative AI on AWS, from beginners to experienced developers. Highly recommended!

Pros: 1) I used to feel Generative AI was intimidating. Rahul has made it easy to follow and all the use cases are simple. 2) Resources and videos are easy to follow. Cons: 1) Some modules are outdated and it would be good if they can be refreshed/updated. For example: langchain -> changed to langchain_community or langchain_core. So, if a learner follows word to word from these videos, he cannot get the application working. 2) The Course says 7+ use cases. However, when doing the course, there are only 5 use cases! Not a truthful marketing :( 3) I was expecting a little bit more on AI Agents.

The best instructor I’ve ever come across your explanations are clear, combining strong concepts with real-time projects. Thank you so much, Rahul Trisal, for your course. It truly builds confidence in many people to understand and develop GenAI skills Please keep releasing different topics for upskilling ourself in future thanks a lot

I am really enjoying the course so far: Rahul explains everything very clearly, with real life examples that make it super simple ( eg. apples, Go boardgame etc.) Great for a beginner to this domain, and for mid level also. Do you have any courses for the AWS solutions architect associate exam? That would be amazing. Thanks!

Excellent course. Rahul has articulated the curriculum such that no prior experience is needed with any of the GenAI/AWS concepts are needed. Rahul also provided all the slides/python scripts which helped me to follow his teaching and also revise the concepts. Highly recommend this as as the first go to course for GenAI with AWS.

By Rakesh Kumar on 4/6/2026

Rahul has explained concepts clearly with practical examples that really helped reinforce my understanding. Yesterday i simply enrolled this course to see what it offers and i got so much interest that i have complete 7 sections in just one and a half day. I feel much more confident in my skills by taking this course—highly recommended! I will go through the other courses of Rahul to get more insight. Now I become a fan of you bhai :)

One of the best AWS AI course I have taken in Udemy. Its not like your traditional course, but a better one. The instructor is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain certain concepts and makes sure he demonstrates it in the AWS. If you are someone looking forward more to the AI implementations, then this is the course. The instructor has done a very good job of sharing his architecture knowledge and keeps the course very engaging

This was a very informative and well‑structured AI course. I appreciated how it walked through real GenAI use cases on AWS using Amazon Bedrock, RAG, LangChain, AI agents, MCP, Amazon Q, and LLM workflows. The hands‑on examples made the concepts easy to understand, even without prior AI or coding experience. It’s a great introduction for anyone looking to build practical generative AI solutions on AWS.
