German for You A1/A2: A German Language Course for Beginners (Udemy.com)

I love this course! I have completed the first half of it, called my friends in Germany, and gave them three minutes of fun and joy at my expense by speaking very simple, very basic, but still German to them :-) Esther is a great teacher! She makes everything very easy to understand. Her explanations are clear, concise, and to the point. The material is very useful, logical, and easy to remember. And also, she is a nice and kind person :-)

i really like the way the course is taught, i take my time and comeback often to the same course /class before moving to the next to make sure that i learn the declinaisons very well as i intend to speak very well . i also listen to the accent and intonations on long word and orders of the word in a sentence .I take it slow to make sure i do not miss anything . Dear Teacher, I am really liking this course and the way you have given the required information where and when it is essential. Nice, and I loved it. Meanwhile, I would like to emphasise the concept and give a bit more grammatical information so the reader can clearly understand and remember the concept properly.

It taught me the German I couldn't learn in 8 years at school. Of course this is mostly passion biased, the way that I didn't want to learn a single thing in school because it was forced to me and the way I want to learn it now because I feel like I need it, but there's something that's definitely different between them, no matter if you're passionate about learning German or not; this course knows that you don't know anything and even if you don't, you can always get back and practise it again and again, it is all guided, easy to do, whereas at school, they basically don't care which level you're at. I was trying to learn B2 German while I didn't even know A1 at my last year of university. Thanks to this, I feel like I'm understanding a thing or two now...

This course eased things for me. I started learning German 3 months ago. I was lost at start while trying to learn through German books and watching videos on Youtube. This beginner course provided me with enough practice with grammar and vocabulary that i could now read and write German much better. And can understand much more words than earlier while having a basic slow paced conversation. Thank you very much Ms. Hartwig.

the videos have their own structure for teaching which is bit different from regular way so its bit confusing at places to introduce the verb form kind of bit weird and it gets mixed up in your brain more methodical approach would have been better however quite good for self paced and self learning can really achieve A2 level

This course is awesome and so beautifully done, better then live classes I went to, I am so grateful and I hope you have some more courses on German language.

very informative. loved it.

She explains everything clearly and elaborates with many examples that I can understand easily. She provides the vocabularies repeatedly which makes me memorize them easier. One tip that I also bought the A1 Grammar class. It will be good if you study the Grammar class after this course. Then you will have fully understanding on the basic ones. Danke Esther!
