hello ashish its a great course but only one thing that disappoints me is that you have not zoomed in to the code snippets while writing the code in the initial lectures i am right now at the 40th lecture and it is hard to see and read the code though it is visible but it should have been more easiser if you would have zoomed it but still i will watch it full to complete my coiourse its hard to find the content like this

This whole course could be 50% shorter. I am listening at 1.75 speed and it's still hardly bearable. You do not need 2 lessons and waste 15 mins in explaining how to run go get and where files are stored, jesus christ. Overall it's not a bad course, it's just that the structure is lacking. You can't expect people to spend 50h on syntax before starting to write actual code, like are you kidding me.

Very thorough lectures. Wish the gRPC portion of this course had some "best" design practices, especially using dependency injection that is pretty common with api servers. also the protoc tool isn't explored in any detail. course would be better designed around the new "buf" tool and the protobuf features that come with it.

Sincerely this is the best Golang course out there. it's comprehensive but can be boring. I wish the Instructor would add a project for each section to internalize knowledge. There is no better course for Golang; believe me I've searched.

I like this course. I watched other Go courses from Max Schwarzmuller and Andrei Negoie and those left me with questions like "there must be more to this." I believe this is the course you need. It is very thorough and the instructor's delivery is well-paced. It is very long because it is thorough. Be patient if you really want to learn the language. Thank you.

The course is very descriptive and informative. It also teaches the fundamentals about how things works. Its not just teaching its an experience we can apply in our projects and learn more about how things work

so i've just completed the intermediate part and the way he teaches is excellent , he really tries to go in depth about every thing golang offers you can see that he's really trying to make you a really good and knowledgeable dev.(will update this review as the course goes on but until now its kinda the best)

This is the most complete and up to date Go course on Udemy at the time of writing (spring 2025). It's very concise and covers all the important features of the language, starting from the basics and all the way to the advanced parts like concurrency and reflection. But what makes this course really stand out are the later chapters on API design. You build one big API - first a REST version and then a gRPC version. The REST API is done from scratch using the Go standard library and the new http.ServeMux router that came out in version 1.22. The course also does a really good job of explaining how to build a production-ready gRPC API. Including how to add validation, authentication and middleware, as well as how to test and measure performance. There are a few other courses about gRPC but they mostly suck and they don't show you how to build a finished product. In conclusion, this course has everything you need to do backend web development using Go. I wish it was out when I was a beginner. It would have saved me so much time.
