Joseph takes his time to explain things well. But you must take time to listen carefully and code along with him. It also helps to try experimenting and learning on your own. Sometimes concepts are introduced that are not covered up to that point, but he gets to them in later lessons.

I was surprised when I first saw the course and read the reviews. It helped me a lot. I appreciate the breakdown of concepts and that you didn't just redo what others say but created a course on things like GraphQL & MCP servers. They have been buzzwords for me, but this helps me learn better and transfer that knowledge to day-to-day life. Your coverage on unit tests, especially external dependencies, helped me a lot. It never hit me before that I needed to refactor or extract code. The course has been a blast. Thank you very much for such great work.

Excellent course so far, with high expectations. Only trouble I have is that the sound editing makes the instructor's voice too loud on bass and as I use speakers, it is difficult to understand.

The strength of this tutorial lies not only in its clear explanation of each concept, but also in its progression. It effectively takes you from your current level and advances you to a senior-level position.

I haven't completed the course yet, but the author explains the material very well. I have already gained some knowledge and am confident that I will get the expected result from this course.

Awesome course, it's everything I was looking for. It uses the go libraries and code patterns I wanted to learn and Joseph has a really good calm and deep voice. My only suggestion is to reduce the amount of code auto-completion usage and spend some more time actually typing and explaining important stuff. The teacher takes its time to speak and explain (which is nice!) but rushes when it comes to writing actual code by pressing the Tab key and important code is magicaly added. It is fine to use auto-completion for manual stuff like creating mocked data etc. But sometimes, core logic is added through code completion and the lesson feels kinda rushed. Not all the time, though. Anyway, the course is great and I strongly recommend it. Thanks Joseph for sharing such amazing knowledge about Go, don't take my feedback as an insult, just my overall feeling of this course!

Definitely not beginner-friendly. He’s a good programmer, but he doesn’t explain concepts in a way that’s easy for newcomers to understand. This is better suited for people who already have a strong foundation and be prepared to do extra research and Googling to fully follow the code and explanations.

The instructor takes time to try to explain everything. However the instructor is not good at conveying the knowledge. If you are not a starter this course might be good for you. However, if you have just started programming and you do not know what to do this course is not for you. This course is for someone who already have a great knowledge of programming and back-end and they want to expand their knowledge.

Abah is great at teaching and a very detailed and open going person. I have just started the course and I am sure it will be a gem. I will edit my review with my opinions after I finish the course in the near future.
