How to design & develop REST microservices in Golang (Go) (Udemy.com)

I would have liked to give this course a higher rating because overall the content helped me to think about the right way to structure my applications in Go. I would rate the content suitable for beginners to intermediates with Go. However, this course could easily be better. - The audio quality could easily be improved with better microphone and by recording in a room isolated from any outside noise - Have shorter lessons and with a more specific objective for each - If certain modifications are made to the course, they should follow until the end (I am talking about the refactor to module vs dep) That said, I am not afraid to buy other course from this instructor.

If you're serious about building MicroServices in Go then this is the course for you. Fede takes you on a deep dive of how to properly create, test and deploy your services. The course is steeped in best practices and applies well know patterns using idiomatic Go. He has a great teaching style of reinforcing and repeating key topics and concepts that you need to know. In the course you'll build interfaces to Relational and No-Sql databases, work with Elastic Search and authenticate using OAuth2. All things considered, this is an awesome course that you'll get tremendous value from and will reference it's techniques in your own projects.

Came here after I saw one of your videos on YouTube (v=b13zwMPLklE) and I am not disappointed! You have the perfect pace and amazing clarity in your teaching.
I specifically loved the fact that you talk about having interfaces and design the app so that specific components can be swapped out in the future (IMO this is where the true value is in this course).

Great content but audio quality can be much improved

The course is not bad, it helped me to be better in golang. Unfortunately, in my opinion, not all points have turned out well. A part of the chapters are missing/changed (chapter 30) and the creator wrote 7 months ago that he was aware of this problem and he wanted to fix it in a short time, but sadly nothing has happened until today. the preparation could be a little bit better, it is sometimes more than a live coding session than a course. And the sound and video resolution are also not the best. In spite of everything, you will learn several new things, about go and microservices, but for a 5-star course there is still room for improvement

Muy bien!! Excelente forma de explicar. Me gusto la parte de explorar las interfaces de la librera de ES para solucionar las respuesta que enviaba la librera. Vi partes del dominio donde se hace referencia a implementacin especfica de la infraestructura no s si fue por una decisin de facilitar el trabajo, por ejemplo el formato de la fecha en MySql en el dominio y el nombre de ESQuery tambin en el dominio. Felicitaciones Federico Len muy buen curso y ya recomendado en mi equipo de trabajo para ser visto.

Good explanation and useful for creating some new project by using microservices in Go.

He explains very clarity

Very bad accent and sound quality. He makes a swallow noise which is annoying. Sometimes he get confused during classes and do not cut the video. I do not recommend at all.
