A free, one-hour tour of no-cost marketing tools for people running a small business on the side. Nathalie Chantal de Ahna spends 16 short lectures showing how she finds keywords, writes headlines, spots viral content, checks that a site loads quickly and looks right on a phone, and records a simple About Me video. There is no theory to sit through and no certificate at the end. It suits the solo founder or kitchen table seller who wants a few things to try this afternoon, not a marketer building a repeatable growth process.

Reviewers like her a lot. Her humor comes up again and again, one person loves her accent, and one reviewer has already started using the hacks with good results. The complaints are all about age. The material was last updated in 2016, and three- and four-star reviews from 2018 and 2019 say some tools have stopped being free and the content is dated. Even a five-star reviewer in 2018 noted that the resource links and her own website no longer worked. One French reviewer felt it simply rounds up software everyone already knows.

It is free, so the only risk is an hour of your time. Next to the other growth hacking courses listed beside it, this is a light snack. The instructor is really fun and able to engage with the students. I enjoyed this course but few of the information presented here is outdated. Good course to give you some head start but you also have to do your own research in 2019. If the instructor will like to update it in the future, this course will be a good choice for starters looking for free or low-cost online tools.
