Course Description
HMI (HMIs), are a basic piece for any type of industrial programming and automation. HMI programming is applied in every industry, and as a future or current industrial programmer in automation world, you should know all the how's. In this course, we will start from scratch programming an HMI for any type of recipe required in our process, with FactoryTalk View Studio.
You should know, this course is 10% theory and 90% practice, so from the first videos we will start with programming, and then raising the difficulty, by experiecing real situations in automation field.
We will tour:
Momentary buttons.
Buttons maintained.
Numeric keyboard.
Graphic variables, etc.
In this course you will learn to execute:
Recipe Systems.
Macros creation.
Creation of Securities.
Parameter files.
Local Messages.
Alarms.
HMI Programming
Animations and more.
We take you by the hand step by step, giving an explanation not only of how the software works, but also that you will understand each of the functions in a logical and practical way, as well as different application examples.
With this HMI course, you will understand the activities to be carried out in real situations as a field engineer, as well as the complete operation of an HMI regardless of its brand, since what matters is its logical sequence in programming.
After reviewing the functions and programming of each execution, you will be able to create at the end of the course a practical case of a REAL industrial process and applicable in any factory (Software FactoryTalk View Studio, HMI).
So we will remind you to join this community of industrial programmers of the future. Don't forget to visit the other courses we have for you to become a full PLC programmer.

Excellent and lovely to learn your course. you are no 1 instructor in UDEMY. all the courses you did, it's amazing but it will be perfect if you could do communication in cross platform also. BTW it's great, Sir. Thanks

Rodrigo, Thank you so much for this course, Congratulations , You are an expert teacher you covered pretty much everything we need to know to program an HMI , thank you again for sharing your knowledge.

I really enjoyed the experience. There are many HMI-related videos on YouTube, but I think it is very different to have a record that I can go back to in order to consult small details, such as macros or recipes, whenever I need to. These videos will actually be very useful for my personal goals and my professional career in automation. I am studying Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Process Control and Industrial Automation, and there are many courses I would like to take to complement my current knowledge. Thank you!

Taking this course was a purposeful step in advancing my professional journey. My main objective was to deepen my practical knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) programming, both of which are critical tools in modern electromechanical systems. The course allowed me to move beyond theoretical understanding and gain field-level experience, strengthening my ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automation systems.

The course the instructor does not seem to be prepared to teach the course or maybe the interpreter is confused, the video and audio does not match alot of time. By the time the video is shown the audio is about 20 seconds ahead. Maybe redo the video instead of just updating the audio, got tire of hearing "I'm writing in Spanish guy", " double whole" why not just use the right term when the screen is showing DINT and you mention double whole is a bit confusing, oh and "hug" not all of us want a hug every time we see something new. Way to much rambling half way through the course y'all ramble about how great the final is

The lesson does not flow. The info is very simple, However; the audio is not always aligned (tired of hearing this is spanish). Redo the lesson completely next time not just change the audio.

So far this guy has been nothing but Gold. He will teach things your job wants you to have but may not be able to teach you. Best PLC and HMI tutor on Udemy. Thank Engineer.

I'm a Sr Engineer with just the basic HMI understanding. Software, and communications was my biggest obstacle. I expect to be programming some pretty advanced stuff soon enough, can't wait!

As always, great course! If you really want to learn about HMI, this is the one! You can tell how experienced the instructor is. The logical thinking and the practice in this course, are worth it. Totally recommend it, 100%
