Experienced teacher, good sound and environmeent quality, good and true points about life (wasting and using time, finding what is important, take action). But little extended, i think it could be shrink a little with the same amount of useful information.

I've learned a lot so far & I 've seen the results that one can change the environment around them to increase the effects of learning, growth, getting better results & improve circumstances. I feel empowered, encouraged & motivated to invest my time, attention & energy constructively in an orderly way to start at the bottom & work my way through this journey to achieving my goals. Joe, I want you to know that you're doing and excellent job here! Personally, I tend to absorb very little from anything that can help me to move on towards my goals, and refrain quickly. I really hope that's not the case anymore, and I think I'm really improving already! Yesterday, I was going to work and buyed a non-thecnical book (The new psychology of success, by Carol Dweck) for the first time in years! And also, I followed your recomendations and joined the discussion for the first time, too. Sorry for the long text, but I felt I needed to write it. Hope we all improve and succeed, Raphael Campos

These lectures offer very little in terms of evidence-based practices; while I appreciate the reminders such as be positive, motivated and eat healthy foods, there is real neuroscience and cognitive science research that could be referenced and adapted rather than nearly vacuous talks that say things like, "master yourself" followed by no concrete strategies. The suposed "Three-Step Process" lacks any guidance. For example, Step One is becoming aware, but there is nothing offered besides the "strategy" of "just stop, and notice" and a metaphor abut riding a horse taht also doesn't lead to much insight. This was a waste of time.

I have read many of the books shared in this course (Carol Dweck, Napoleon Hill, Bob Proctor, Anthony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, and etc). The content of this course is nice; however, I don't think the instructor planned ahead the coherence of the course ahead, namely ideas and videos are added in an impromptu fashion. Also, despite introducing a wide variety of learning tools and psychology, I believe instructor didn't spend enough time discussing the importance of unconscious mind.

Great course… I'm already a super learner: I started last year but this appealed to me to try and improve how I learn and how it can all sink in more… I knew a lot of this through my own learning journey but is an excellent starting point for those new to power learning _ I was hoping to find some teachings on best note making techniques - as I note take on everything but have no structure to it... maybe you can add this to a bonus chapter thanks for the course

This course definitely has some good aspects to it. A lot of things in the course seem self evident (if you don't know what you want to learn, how could you ever learn it) but taking this course can increase your mindfulness about these sorts of things. Joe is pretty good to watch as a teach (energetic, lots of different backdrops, lists and other visuals), but some of the lectures suffer from being 'off the cuff' I think the course would benefit from some more practical tips or directions. For example, one lecture says to create a discussion topic announcing what you want to learn. I think some tools/strategies for keeping yourself on course would be nice. What about a template to track the things you did to achieve your goal each day? Or some sites/ways to keep yourself on track (like donating to a charity if you don't do something to achieve your goal each day)? I think the course would be more beneficial if it focused a bit less on rhetoric and more on practical application.

When I Purchased this course I was excited about it. After taking it I am even more excited! This course exceeded all of my expectations. The videos were fun, engaging, and I actually learned a lot about how to learn instead of what to learn. The concepts in this course were fascinating and the participation by the instructor is well with the price of enrolling. I can see why this instructor has lots of students in this course... Ton of value.

"How to Become a Super Learning Machine" is an excellent course that focuses on the practical basics of how to learn. The course teaches students about the right attitude to take when learning, the best way to absorb knowledge and how to set goals and achieve them. Thanks to my experience as a teacher, I went into the course understanding most of the concepts that Joe Parys covers. However, thanks to Joe's progressive and hybrid attitude towards learning I was able to take away some new things that have already helped me in my studies. First, Joe covers the importance of surrounding yourself with positive influence. He talks about reasons to stay away from the news. I have always stayed away from the news, but I never knew the reason. He briefly touches on this subject. The news is a source of negativity. I think that I would want to add that he did not say anything bad from gaining knowledge from reputable media like documentaries and lectures. Documentaries are a great way to open yourself to new concepts and start exploring topics of interest. Second, Joe talks about the use of audio books. He talked about how it can be a time saver and how it can supplement learning. Until taking this course, I had shunned audio books as a lazy way out of reading. However, after hearing the arguments for audio books and the reasons why it would benefit me, I immediately became a member of an audio book club. I have a 30-minute commute to work. By using this time to listen to audio books instead of listening to music, I have been able to complete some great books that help me at my job. Audiobooks during a commute are an efficient​ use of time and energy. The name of the course is a little misleading, but the content and subject matter of the course is top notch.

I really love this course because it is spot on everything I have been doing for many years. I really encourages me on where I am at and where I want to go next. Thank you Joe for making this course! Once I watched the first video I wanted to keep watching. I am two thirds through already. I really loved the quizes and questions. I'd like more of those because it really made me remember how much I love figuring these things out. For anyone who wants to be encouraged and get great advice I would take this course in a heart beat. Joe is not boring and I really like that he does all sorts of videos and not just inside a closed room. Great course that I would recommend to anyone.
