Well worth taking to learn the basics. A little out of sync/disjointed but nothing too tragic. Plenty of useful tips and references to some very talented producers. Now it's time to practice as practice makes perfect.

There was a lot more focus on color grading than I expected and less on playing with text and things like that. But I learned a lot and feel comfortable navigating the program and teaching myself any additional things that I might need to know!

Really helpful course for beginners, but I would really have liked more over the shoulder recording of how his editing workflow looks like for a project for more of a walkthrough of cutting a video from start to finish. This would be a lot more useful for more intermediate users.

Yes, it is much better than all the other FCPX courses I've bought from Udemy. I'm sure I can pick up something from the other courses that weren't covered here so I feel good about it. This instructor is good. I wish he'd answer his email though.I would love to see a class just like this for Motion 5.
