The 5 vocal systems at the start really helps improve my singing in bounds! Maruja explains the concept in a simple yet concise manner and the vocal exercises given after the lessons demonstrates clearly what exactly we should practice daily. I also like the "Exercises" video at the end, as it sums up all the vocal exercises throughout the course. Thank you Maruja for this wonderful course!

I actually purchased this course for my girlfriend at the time, but she never watched it. I decided to go through it to improve on my singing. I've been singing since I was 5 years old, emulating Elvis and other idols at the time (I'm 53, but was exposed to lots of 50's and doo-wop in my youth). I'm always singing daily (even my own songs), and also do a lot of karoake (now having a full pro set up at home). However, there have always been songs I wish I could sing...or at least do more confidently, and am now doing more than I thought I could because of your instruction. One song that was always a bit straining was Gary Wright's "Dream Weaver." The chorus was the hard part, but now I do it so much more comfortably and natural. Thank you! I had taken a voice class years ago in college, which helped a TON when I learned about the "Golden Triangle", or what you are here calling the "mask." In any case, I wanted to tell you that you taught me a whole lot more about how everything works together. Though I've been a pretty good singer for awhile, I see (or, rather, hear) a big improvement in my singing on everything I do now. I really enjoyed your teaching and explanation. Very good explanations, but talking a few minutes about every phrase doesn't count for teaching.

Thanks a lot to the teacher! Maruja is an easygoing fun teacher , but with an essential information and deep knowledge about singing. Course is good for beginners and intermediate. It was very helpful for me personally, as many scientifiques vocal terms are described/explained here by very simple way. Thanks to this course I ve learn to manage correct breathing, however the other pro courses could not give me this managed knowledge, as information was presented within more complicated way. So thanks a lot again!

Maru is so beautiful, open, natural, fun! I feel so much female energy in her, and it's so appealing and inspiring! And of course, her voice sounds so great! I truly enjoy watching and listening to her! I was looking for the best vocal course in Udemy for me, and felt so frustrating, because no one of them didn't resonate with me, or even dissonate. And when I almost gave up, suddenly, the Maru course appeared - and I fall in love with it from the first look! And it resonates with me even deeper, when I found out, that Maru has a psychological background (which relates to my profession), and has another course about freeing from mental blocks in singing! And that was it - I've bought both courses and started with this one, and Maru keeps brings me joy, it's such a pleasure to watch her, listen to her (as I've already told)))) I rarely leave a review of the course at the very beginning of it, but this one is really worth it! I feel a little disappointed because I was expecting at least a little demonstration from the instructor on how to perform what she is describing during the lectures. There's a lot of terminology and info but for someone who has never taken a singing lesson before it's difficult to understand how to do the exercises correctly.

Amazing course and very helpful! I have been singing for about 10 years and have got more than 30 covers recorded. But this was the very first vocal course that I have finally decided to take and I realized that all that time I had been singing with lots of technical mistakes. Now I have learned the important and essential basics. Hopefully, I sing much better and more correctly now. Enjoyed every word spoken by this beautiful professional lady. I took Maru's "Vocal Psychology" course and loved it, so I snatched this one up as well. Her delivery is so enjoyable and engaging, and the content was just right. The course isn't a high-level, comprehensive vocal system, nor does it claim to be. It's a clear and concise survey of foundational vocal concepts and techniques, and it's a great primer (or refresher) for any singer -- beginner to seasoned pro. I think Maru has structured the lessons in such a way that you can jump right back in any time you're in need of a tune-up. In my opinion, lifetime access to such a valuable resource is worth the price of the course many times over, and I would recommend it to any singer I know.

I have been singing and recently started Karaoke singing and this course has helped me see so many incorrect ways that I was singing with before...I LOVE this course and I am blown away that I see improvement already...WOWEE
