This was a very comprehensive course. Some of the topics are basic business knowledge but don't underestimate the value in refreshing this knowledge or in the other information covered. Lots of important topics to get you thinking and hopefully make everyone successful!

Great course. It covers everything I need. I think this may be very helpful for people who are starting out at different points. I enjoyed the discussion on how much to pay for rent and preparing an operating agreement. I have looked into starting a coffee shop previously and learned quite a bit with this course. I would recommend it for sure.

I am grateful for this course because it walked me through what I needed to know to plan my coffee business. The instructor/narrator was easy to understand and was clear to the point. I like how he talked about navigating the health department and the finance section. Thank you very much.

I highly recommend this course! I owned a coffee shop about 17 years ago and wanted a refresher course, as things have changed since then. I'm glad I did. This is very good and touches on some very important topics every coffee business should know. Thank you.

I have mix feelings. (1) It is too long, there are a couple good ways to break it into 2 classes and 1/2 the charge. (2) Sometimes, it gets close to providing near-clear data points you can use, but then steers away or is general, (3) I do think it is a good resource, but found almost all of on business side things I already know, and then on coffee side, I learned more in "What I know About Running Coffee Shops" by Colin Harmon or talking to owners. Overall, I think it is accurate where it is aiming, but I could have used some real data points for PNLs. I think COGS should always include the direct labor as the Barista is part of the COGS so I think most of the math is very off. I appreciate the very balanced approach to managing excitement alongside reality. I was going to take several Udemy courses, but I think I will hold off now.

Excellent. I thought I was getting just a basic coffee shop business course. This is so much more. It starts with general topics but then gets into the deep, nitty-gritty pretty quickly and stays there. Many topics were covered - some I didn't even think about. I would recommend this course.

I just completed 100% of this course!! Tons of info and resources! I like the pace and step-by-step explanations. It covers more than I thought, including how much to pay for rent, how to choose a location, and working with the health department. I am happy I took this course.

Excellent and complete course. It covers everything, even the smallest details. At the very least, I have all the information that I need to set up a business. This is not only true for coffee shops, but also for other types of hospitality businesses in general. The principles are the same. At least I am less afraid to start because I have everything at hand.

This training is professionally presented in a concise and easy-to-follow manner. There are over 20 very helpful downloads. I feel much more confident that we will open a successful coffee shop. The training helps me think through many issues before we have to implement them. I highly recommend this training.

Excellent Course! I have been looking for a coffee shop business course to open a small cafe in Portugal (I've lived in the U.S. for 12 years). The information it provides is excellent. While it is a beginner's course, it covers many important topics. I like the way it takes things step-by-step. I enjoyed many sections, including choosing how to buy a coffee shop, choosing my location (which was very helpful), and developing my financial projections (which this course did an excellent job of breaking things down for me). This is a great course. Sure, it's a beginners' course, but this is exactly what I needed. Easy to understand. There are lots of downloads. Excellent value. Yes, I would recommend this course. Thumbs up!
