This is more principle-based than a down-in-the trenches course. I got a lot out of it.
However Godin's CONSTANT use of the "she/her" pronoun annoyed the bejesus out of me. He incessantly decided to use "she/her" to describe both the Freelancer -and- the Customer in every. single. example. It's fine to sprinkle in a couple mixed pronouns to accommodate for both sexes -- but this dude just droned on and on with it.
Truth be told, it didn't feel inclusive. It felt forced, disingenuous and hollow.
Hey, Seth, there are MORE than just females taking this class. Put down the SJW bit and speak to everyone, instead of picking and choosing as you see fit.

Yes it pretty much somes up the basics of my element I'd like to reach into further and learn as much as I can about freelancing it's actually the way I been living my whole life and it helps recollect my memories and thoughts watching these lectures.

In a world flooded with infinite generic advice about becoming "anybody for anyone" this course gives me clear benchmarks and definitions around what's involved in showing up with excellence to serve a niche audience in a remarkable way. The PDF assignments and goals are helpful to document my goals and get crystal clear on the incremental steps I can take next. I took extensive notes and was particularly challenged by the many ways I can create specific assets that serve my clients and community while setting me apart in my space.
