This is a great class. One of the strengths was the design portion (1st half of the class) learning and understanding how to use Illustrator and Photoshop to layout and design a web page. It also gives you and in depth look into understanding and coding with CSS, which is critical to the look and feel of your web pages. The relationship between HTML5 and CSS3 was laid out well and easy to understand. Lastly, this class went a long way in allowing me to understand Responsive Web Design and what it takes to make it happen.

Nicely done Geoff!

Taking you through the three different stages of web design as defined by this class (structure, design and code) was extremely helpful, while learning how to make a great responsive website, the instructor also teaches you many different techniques in both illustrator and photoshop, and because of this is more bang for your buck.

The instructor is very cheerful and engaging as well, the course zipped by.

The only issue I found was that I could not find the files he was using and he seemed to imply that they were available, It wasn't a big deal though I just used files I made myself and everything worked out fine.

I think it's a good course for those who want to start a career in responsive web designing. The way approached to the content is appreciable. An excellent description can be found in this course. The style of narration and the coding samples are capable enough to grasp to those who watching the video.

But, there is one more portion to be added to the course, for large displays. I mean, the three screens are not enough in the real world. Something is really disappointing is there is no mention about the large screens(iMac and other widescreen monitors are available in the market).
