Ultimate? It's just a beginners course! When the title says "Ultimate", you naturally think of a course that covers everything about HTML5, from A to Z. This course covers only introductory stuff! Nothing beyond that! Because of its title, this course does not deserve anything more than a 2 star.

This course has been very friendly to the clueless who want to learn HTML! I recommend this course as a great place to start!

yes.. seems like a good match; i don't understand why the entire 2018 course repeated the 2020 course?? This is a very basic course and a good one to get started with web development.

Enjoying the course. It is simple and straight forward as all basic courses should be. Kalob does a comprehensive job on covering the basics and setting a good foundation for your knowledge.

HTML is the starting place for learning web languages. I took this course as a refresher on HTML - I had last used the language back in 2007.
For anyone new to HTML, I'd say this is a very good course that drives you through the core essentials quickly & easily. As you can see in the course description the videos are not too long and I found them very easy to follow. Forms was previously the most complicated fundamental when I originally learnt HTML, but it's made easy on this course.
Just like with almost all online courses, students are encouraged to search the net to further explore certain areas discussed within (e.g HTML entities). Don't let that put you off, as it will be good practice for when you move onto another language. Consider checking out the complete list of attributes for the core HTML tags after the course is completed and play with them - Kalob goes over the common attributes.
I enjoyed each quiz and also the project at the end. The project covers a little bit of everything that was previously taught and acts as a good roundup.
This is the first Udemy course I've actually bothered to complete. Probably in part because Kalob presents each lesson in a genuinely friendly manner. He does honestly sound like he wants students to complete the course and encourages them to use the course Q&A, if they have difficulty. He also shows students two pathways to follow for study progression at the end of the course, which was a nice touch.

This is one of the best courses I've seen. To be honest it is my first online course and I've been satisfied by my choice.

The foundation of any course or for the development or master any skills the foundations of basic knowledge should be strong enough though this course is started from the basic still it needs more clearity to understand quickely sometimes i feel like the process is going too fast and can't relate the matters that why this code is written here when to use this code ,i suggest that the examples of using elemnts and codes should be done better, so,hope that you may try to make it more easier and clear to understand it on practicle examples ,i have completed all of thses and also practised most of it and still learning and practicing to develop a master skill in html ,this is my personal opinion because all of us have different level of understading,perception,learning speed and grasping power.
I am not completely satisfied to this course and still belive that there is requirement of gaining more knowledge and now i am moving towards another site for better learning but all on it it is a average course but still as a student i respect the teacher and i would like to thanks for all of the knowledge.

The course is average to good. Has an entire 2018 section which has been improved and you don't need to go through it, but it's still featured in the course and I don't know why and the fact that it's counted towards the entire course length is bad.
Also in some occasions I felt like the trainer was experiencing some Visual Code features for the first time which, all things considered, is a bit strange.
For a course that titles "ULTIMATE" it doesn't bode well for the trainer to say at the end of the course that he didn't touched everything and that he would probably need like an year.
Don't think anybody can feel an HTML EXPERT after this course, you can, at best, consider yourself an advanced user, and that is FINE! But Kalob tries to put this in your mind and it's a bit unfair.
I gave the course 3 starts because the information is alright but the trainer needs to be just a little bit more modest, that's all. Cheers!

I have already done a course on web design - HTML, CSS & Javascript but I am learning so many new things here which are totally worth it and it has been a great learning experience so far. Kalob is also very responsive in answering the queries.
