Hyperion Financial Management Advanced Course (Udemy.com)

The course content is rich in context, content and the instructor is knowledgeable and skilled capably to deliver on the course module. As a student I have been able to understand the inner workings of the Oracle Hyperion Financial Management software. The only little glitch stems from semantics used by the instructor.

Some explanations need to be done better as sometimes during an explanation the audio and video don't match. Some concepts are explained but not shown in the video. certain steps are skipped and not always fully explained which left me confused in certain areas.

Good insights of HFM... Will appreciate if one course can be specifically designed for End users ie finance guys....This one is useful for IT professional involved in hyperion implementation. But this was also handy for understanding basic stuff....thanks

The concepts are clear and good. but the concepts covered are for very basic and expecting the advanced and little deeper coverage on the consolidation rules and translation rules. The more real time scenarios needed in the course.

So far, it was crystal clear. Great job Padmaja. I am not sure if calculation script/business rule is part of the scope, as I have not come across yet. There is different syntax for HFM to write calculation script, so would be curious to know. Thanks. Atul

50% Completed , Very well explained , Padmaja seems to have a very good command over Hyperion EPM Also requesting Padmaja to add a Mini project and which will be very helpful for freshers like us to understand whether we are able to apply our learnings

Great course even if someone starts from zero experience with the system. I would highly recommend it. Only small drawback I see is that sometimes if trying to follow exactly step by step the videos in your own practice environment, some small steps might be emitted due to editing of the videos and you have to make extra research.

Author understands the subject very well. Explanation clarity is excellent with very simple and understandable examples. Delivery pace is very good. Udemy should treat this course as a model for others to emulate.

GOOD HFM Course I would recommend to others. It Would be great if you can add more & more videos on HFM Rules & Details of Calc Manager Components & some functional details explanation videos[GL Systems, Trail balance, IFRS)so as to understand what we need to know to implement the HFM (Requirement collection )which will help us to design the system. I would also request you to add few more videos on Webforms & grids and optimization techniques videos for consolidations. Demonstration from Padmaja is excellent in all the videos. I know you are at the early stage of adding the videos & working towards improvising the course contents. I wish you all the best and loads of happiness.
