A strategy course for the IELTS exam that covers Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking for both the Academic and General papers. It's huge: the syllabus shows 96 hours across 481 lectures, plus 48 quizzes, 28 assignments and two practice tests. Keino Campbell says himself that students need not watch all of it, since the two tracks are taught separately and a syllabus in Section 1 tells them which sections apply. It suits intermediate English speakers who want techniques for each question type, not general English lessons.

Reviewers who stuck with it report real scores. Several say they reached Band 7 or 7.5 after working through the drills, and the AI speaking roleplays get credit for taking the fear out of the speaking test. Students call the explanations clear and the structure easy to follow. The complaints are consistent too. Some find the audio on certain practice tests scratchy, a few dislike Campbell's tone and pacing, and one low-star reviewer felt the Writing and Speaking sections show answers rather than build them step by step. One simply says it's too long for a two-month, part-time schedule.

With 268,000 students and about 49,000 reviews, it's the only exam prep title among the language courses it sits beside, and a different kind of purchase from a Spanish or grammar course. The reviews suggest it pays off when a specific band score is the goal and there is time to work through the relevant track. Anyone wanting a light refresher will find it heavy going.

The course is overly long and contains excessive detail, making it unsuitable for a two-month, part-time average schedule. Much of the content is not presented in an accessible or engaging way, which makes it difficult to follow and learn effectively. Overall, the experience is quite dull and does not justify the cost.

Received an overall band 7,5 - with the highest in listening, reaching band 8 (I'm sure I was approximately only one correct answer from band 8,5). For me, this course contains all the required information a student needs to do well on IELTS. Additionally, I was positively surprised by the quick and active support from Keino and his team, which is lacking in a lot of similar courses. Although I had not completed all the practices, because of my tight schedule, Keino always underlines the strategy for the current section at the beginning of a lecture. Lastly, with full confidence, I can recommend this course to anybody who wants to reach band 7+ across all different sections. Thank you!
