Course is very good for beginners. It does not touch some aspects such as e. g. replication methods, but illustrate other factors to be aware of. During the course, I collected a series of hard/numeric and "soft" criteria to look at as a checklist, which I can use to valuate possible funds. Personally, I like the way Mr Ballinger teaches (I participated in other, intermediary courses) and his encouraging style.

The most important thing in this course is to make the learners familiar with the different fund websites : how they are working, comparing the funds bit by bit through their fund size, AUM, interest rates, etc. This helps us to understand even more better what the course provider wants to teach. Overall it's a good course and the rest depends on the learner only to go through it practically.

Good course - well layed out and presented. I finished the "Investing Success" course and most of this material was already covered there, so not much new to learn. Recommend adding more in-depth specifics on index funds that aren't in the "Investing Success" course.

The course is very complete and the instructor is excellent. Every word you say is important and your examples are invaluable. I plan to take other courses with this instructor because his teaching style is unique. I recommend the course.

After the introduction, I am very enthusiastic about all I will learn Steve's course. He's a great presenter, very clear and specific. Le.rned about researching funds online and I'm looking forward to using this information to inform my future decisions. Lots of information and well presented.

Clear and straightforward, especially for a relative beginner like me. I liked the examples. Steve talked very quickly, I had to slow the lectures down substantially, but I learned a lot and it was not a big deal. Got some clarity on the differences between various funds. I would have liked some more in depth stuff on what kind of returns you can actually achieve. On the face of it you could do better sticking your money in the bank, but I am pretty sure that isn't the case so it must be me that is confused.

Steve's way of teaching is simple and fun, he makes complex topics easy to digest. He is also really engaging and talks at the perfect pace. He really cuts through the noise I have received with other courses and is direct about giving his students an understanding of mutual fund investing. I will certainly be checking out his other courses to continue my learning. Thanks Steve!

Steve is the best teacher about investments. In one month I completed 3 of his courses and the knowledge I got was amazing. I cannot be thankful enough as now I know which are the steps I need to follow to have a good portofolio depending on your risk level. The best investment I made was studying Mr Ballinger courses as they will make me safe lots of money on fees and some other mistakes.

I loved the course and the instructor's style. He was very clear and fun to listen to. However, even after completing the course, the instructor did not give nearly enough criteria for selecting a fund -- there are so many to choose from! If there are no additional criteria for selecting funds and after applying all the techniques he taught and there are still a 1000 funds to choose from, they he should say so.

Ive taken several courses Steve has and this one may be my favorite. As always hes a great positive presenter and answers my questions quicker than any other instructor Ive used on udemy. On top of that all the content is high quality content! I feel much more confident in investing now (I was a complete beginner before his courses) and I also have a real plan going forward! I highly recommend this for people without a plan or investing knowledge like I was.
