Course Description
Learn Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) from zero to building complete, production-ready integrations. No prior Informatica knowledge is required.
Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), still widely known as Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), is one of the leading iPaaS platforms for data integration, application integration and API integration. It connects on-premise databases, files and cloud applications, and it runs thousands of enterprise data pipelines every day.
This course is built the way integrations are actually built at work. Every concept comes with a hands-on example, and most lectures come with an assignment you solve on your own, so you learn to read a requirement and turn it into a working integration, not just follow along.
What you will build:
- Database to database integrations with Cloud Data Integration (CDI): mappings, transformations, mapping tasks and taskflows
- File integrations: reading CSV and fixed-width files and transforming them into XML and JSON
- REST and SOAP API integrations with Cloud Application Integration (CAI): processes, service connectors, composite APIs
- Scheduled and automated tasks with monitoring, debugging and error handling
What the course covers:
- Creating an IICS/IDMC trial account and installing the Secure Agent
- Cloud Data Integration (CDI): mappings, mapplets, parameters, mapping tasks, taskflows
- Cloud Application Integration (CAI): processes, guides, service connectors, REST and SOAP APIs
- File integration and Mass Ingestion (now Data Ingestion and Replication)
- Monitor, Administrator and Application Integration Console
- JSON, XML and XPath for payload transformation
- Postman for API testing
- Basic Bash commands used around the Secure Agent
- Scheduling, debugging and error handling
Who teaches it: I build and run hundreds of production pipelines inside a global pharmaceutical company, and I have taught Informatica Cloud to more than 23,000 students on Udemy. The examples in this course come from real integration work, including the things that break in production and how to catch them early.
A note on updates: Informatica ships new IDMC releases several times a year and the interface changes with them. This course teaches the mechanics behind the screens, so what you learn stays valid across releases, even when a button moves.
Who this course is for: developers, ETL and data engineers, integration specialists, and anyone moving to Informatica Cloud from PowerCenter or another integration tool.

Radoslaw Janas
My name is Radosław and I build integrations for a living.
I work full time as an integration and observability engineer for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, where I develop and support Informatica IICS pipelines and Cribl deployments in production. Over the years I have built and maintained hundreds of integration flows moving data between systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
I hold Informatica Certified Professional credentials and Cribl certifications.
I teach because explaining this work forces me to understand it properly. My courses are built the way I would want to learn a tool at work: practical, honest about what actually breaks, and light on theory you will never use.
If something in a lesson is unclear, or it does not work in your environment, post it in the Q&A. I read and answer all of it.

The course provides a good foundation for understanding IICS basics and serves as a useful starting point; however, including additional context related to CAI would enhance its value.

Good overall, some exercises on the essential parts are not enough thorough, I would have appreciated more depth in exploring the basics, a lot of reliance on salesforce which is not a popular system where I work, The last part was interesting but also not useful for day to day tasks.

A little bit confused. There is inaccurate/old data in the resources and they need to be updated because some mappings do not give the desired end result.

The information has been valuable but at this point the Informatica Cloud platform is sligthly different and it is not possible to register in the informatica platform. It should be a Chapter on how to create the account, because right now is not possible in the way the course is set. Another thing is instead of giving istructions to perform actions, should be a video showing where and how to do it.

nice course for basic overview, application integration may be difficult to understand when we are integrating with other systems which we have not used before.

The course on Mastering IICS was incredibly well-structured and made it surprisingly easy for me to grasp key components like Mappings, Mapping Tasks, Taskflows, Connections, Transformations, and even concepts like Secure Agent and Processes. The explanations were clear and practical, and I found myself confidently building integration flows step by step without feeling overwhelmed. The Radoslaw’s approach simplified complex topics, which made learning not only efficient but genuinely enjoyable.

yes, wll it be possible for you to email me one scenrio OR answer to one question:- If I have Powercenter and IICS installed, cant I make a change to the mapping and then reimport the workflow as a Powercenter task. ie:- If my company maintains Powercenter and IICS then importing changes will not be an issue correct. ie:- I can make changes to the powercenter task /mapping and then re-import to IICS.

Course had detailed explanation on both CDI and CAI . Great start for folks new to Informatica IICS One Request : If you could do a video on CDQ (Data quality) as well then it would be one place to go I believe :) gracias
