Broad coverage of bond investing which was good. However, I was expecting more in-depth coverage on how to select individual bonds for building a bond ladder and a deeper discussion of the negative aspects of bond funds, ETFs, and individual bonds and an example of building a bond-ladder using one of the major investment sites. Overall, it was a good starting point.

This course gives you all the practical knowledge to start investing in bonds/funds. It does not dig deep in more theoretical things such as evaluation models, but focus on more practical aspects, such as how to read a quote, or where bonds/mutual funds may fit into portfolios. So that's exactly the knowledge to get started. It also enlightened me about numerous traps, such as callable bonds and their implications. I liked the course and the tutor (also liked his other courses).

It is a very good introduction to bonds for beginners. If you know the basics, however, you probably won't learn a lot from the class. Considering it is called The Complete Bond Investing Course, I was hoping for more depth. For instance I would like to have seen how bond prices are calculated as interest rates change.

I learnt all the basics about bonds in a very clear and friendly way. Maybe some additional comments on how to find information on ETFs and mutual funds could help. Also, how to compare yields of individual bonds vs ETFs and funds in terms of interest rates and principal recovery.

I bought more courses from Steve and I love his teaching style. I have no issue understanding the topics (in this course, Bonds of course). I cannot wait to finish all the courses, overall I am satisfied with the amount I learn for the price Udemy offers it. Thank you Steve!
