Course Description

Ionic 3 Apps for WooCommerce is a course that will help you understand the basics of the latest version of Ionic Framework, v3, and also walk you through, step by step, to build a complete eCommerce application for Android and iOS using your WooCommerce Store as the back-end. Ionic Framework v2 and v3 are similar, so even if you want to learn Ionic 2, you need the same course.

The eCommerce app that we will build in this course gets the products' information from the WooCommerce store. You do not need to setup any  extra databases or servers. All you need is just a WooCommerce store, either locally or on a remote server.

Don't own a WooCommerce Store yet? You will learn how to setup a WooCommerce store for free on your own computer and then use it to build an eCommerce App. You do not need to buy any tool or software. The course uses all open-sourced technologies.

You will build an eCommerce app that will allow the user to browse through the product catalog, search products in a particular product category, add product to their cart and then pay for their orders. The customers can pay using the PayPal payment gateway as well. The users will get Push Notifications every time you publish a new product.

The orders will be received on the WooCommerce and then can be processed further by the shop admin. The app takes care of user authentication and only allows users with valid customer accounts to place orders. The app also allows new customers to sign up for an account.

So why wait? Build a complete eCommerce solution yourself and release your app in the play store whether you need to expand your skills or your business.

Average-good course, but is outdated! a) Pretty much , its the demo of "here is the code and this is how you run it" , so if you are after something latest and in-depth then not for you! b) Personally i have to take another course on latest ionic-angular framework, after 3-4 weeks of working with this course. c) Instructor is responsive and tries to help so an extra star for that. Would recommend his course if there is a course available from him on latest topic .

So far i have managed to reach this point of Lecture 33. Samarth is very helpful and provides feedback timely on all my questions. This is literally what has helped me to come until this point, since the topic is demanding and needs a lot of background. However after some point you get the hang of it and manage to move faster. I hope i will manage to complete all of the course and be able to build my own app.

This course is really great. I am coming from a non commerce background still I was able to develop my woo commerce Integration Mobile app through this course. Samarth is very helpful and supportive during the the entire course. This is an easy to follow but you need to study the course carefully and more important thing that there a Git repo very useful in case of need or we mess the code! I will recommend this course to everyone who want to learn Ionic3 app for Woo commerce Integration

The course is very well structured and to-the-point. Whatever coding Samarth does, he explains it very clearly that what is he doing and why. The best part is that the faculty is so responsive. He answeres each and every question of yours, and never leaves the discussion midway without providing a solution to your problem. He is the most responsive faculty I have come across till the date. Really doing a great job... Thanks a lot!!!

Overall course rating is excellent. Finally covered the provider for easy code maintenance. Though , if the separation or concern is covered for other functionalities like -: if we create a generic toast message component, then we no need to repeat the code again and again in all the pages. Little code refactoring will take this course to a different dimension. All the best Samarth Agarwal !!! You are rocking!!!

The course provides a very hands-on experience to learning about the ionic framework. And the eCommerce application is definitely a skill that one can make use of. The pace of the course was great, and allows one to build a mini-usable app in a very short time. It would be great if the coordinator could provide some basic theory to some concepts as my aim was to learn Ionic as I build an app. So in quite a few cases I did not understand the use of some of the ionic keywords, or program structure, and so had to do a lot of Google searching to gain deeper understanding. But overall, it's a course worth taking.

The course content is inclusive of almost all the concept for the beginner to understand! The instructor has in depth knowledge of the topic and he explains the concept clearly. I loved the most about the instructor is his quick response to the questions and doubts. He goes out of his way to help solve the issues. Keep up the good work Samarth Agarwal!

This course is my first course on Udemy, that I almost completed. I am nearing the end of it and I have learned a lot about Ionic 3 and integrating WooCommerce. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to build an e-commerce app. Another reason I recommend this course is because the instructor always replies within 24 when you post a question and is very patient in trying to find a solution to your problem The reason I give this course a 4.5 star is for several reason: 1. I miss the concept of MVC, so there is a lot of repetitive code when connection with WooCommerce api, etc 2. You get the basics for developing a e-commerce app, by this I mean it is missing some essential functionalities like a filter option on the products detail page, sharing products via social media, having a wishlist of your products, badge number on the shopping cart, lazy loading, a loading spinner when pulling in the api, having a page where the user can keep track of his/her orders, ... I did mention this to the instruction and he said he would consider implementing a few of my suggestions in is updated content. So fingers crossed

You probably need to explain how to import the commerce file into WooCommerce. I had to google it, but was unable to find the solution that matched how it was described on those articles. So, at that point, I just took what I learned from your course into a personal project. If I didn't need a feature you were explaining, however, I was basically stuck just watching the lesson without being able to code along.
